You’ll be around 2 miles from both Thornton-le-Dale and Pickering, where you can hop on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a scenic ride to spots like Grosmont (17.5 miles). The Yorkshire Moors start just 3.5 miles away, with Dalby Forest (5 miles) a haven for hikers and bikers.

Thrill-seekers and animal lovers will love Flamingo Land (5 miles), with theme park rides and a zoo to discover. For days further afield, head to Castle Howard (15.5 miles), one of Britain’s finest stately homes, the charming seaside town of Filey (21 miles) or the atmospheric coastal spots of Scarborough (17 miles) and Whitby (21.5 miles).

On arrival, step through the pod’s distinctive circular door into a warm and cleverly designed living space that has lovely wooden panelling throughout. The open-plan layout features a snug lounge area with a comfy sofa and Smart TV, a compact but well-equipped kitchen perfect for prepping simple meals, and a fixed double bed fitted with a luxurious Hypnos mattress – setting you up for some serious relaxation.

A circular window behind the bed adds an elegant touch. Neat space-saving features include a fold-out dining table and clever wall pockets with lighting, USB ports and plug sockets for charging your devices.
