Manor Cottage Reviews

First impressions good, however, Hot Tub not available since not switched on by owner. After starting it myself temperature only reached 24 deg.C after 6 hrs. Therefore not used. Owner offered use of hose pipe if we wished to use Hot Tub. No table or chairs to eat from. No working light on upper landing. Considering a dog was booked in during our stay the length of grass at rear of property made cleaning up difficult.

We loved our stay here, it has honestly been one of our favourite holidays weve had! Including the kids favourite Having the separate building with a bedroom and en suite worked perfectly for our family, and it was lovely. The hot tub was huge and so relaxing, and perfect being inside such a large enclosed garden. The garden was a highlight for us, so private and the garden furniture table and chairs, as well as the two lounge seats was ideal. The beds were comfy and it was perfectly clean everywhere. We cooked a couple of nights and found we had everything we needed. The only thing I would recommend is to bring hand soap, salt and pepper, and plastic glasses for the hot tub! The owner was lovely and we recommend visiting Bridlington and using the tennis courts near the lodge. There are some lovely walks on your doorstep and its a beautiful area. Overall a perfect holiday honestly, and we will definitely be looking to come back again!

We had a lovely stay and Manor Cottage was very comfortable. There wasn't a shop nearby, and parking is on the street. We had fabulous weather but no outside table, chairs and brolly for shade. Overall, very good and easily improved.

Loved the cottage, but we came as a family and I dont think it was clear on the listing that the 2nd bedroom was in a separate building. As our children are teenagers it worked ok but I dont feel it would be suitable for families with younger children. All this said we had a lovely weekend, it was very clean, we loved the hot tub, its a great location, so quiet.
The cottage was amazing, everything was new and so relaxing in a nice quiet village near a pub and not to far from the beach and other sea side towns. Enjoyed our time in the hot tub.

The owner has put a lot of thought in to the renovation. We wanted a quiet break and thats what we got it was so lovely no noise at all. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner he was on hand if needed . We would definitely be going back 100

We had an absolutely amazing short break here. The hot tub was lovely. The owner was super helpful and on hand if we needed him during our stay. Our dog loved the garden and the walks around the cottage. We will definitely be back
Darren
We were the first people to stay here. It was well set out and had everything you needed. There was a few snagging problems but Craig sorted these straight away. The hottub is amazing . The area is fantastic for walking and the local pub is 200m away and is very welcoming. I would recommend you to stay here.
