Seamer Manor House Reviews

Michelle
We had a fabulous holiday at Seamer Manor House. The house is stunning and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The garden and hot tub were great, though it would have been nice if the pergola over the hot tub was waterproof as it rained quite a bit while we were there. The large area for parking was a real bonus. We would definitely return here.

What a great property to stay at, central to lots of things to do along the East Yorkshire coast. Enormous property with so much space, all bedrooms very comfortable, diningliving area open plan is a great design with doors folding out to the garden for that extra space, hot tub a hit with the kids. Overall I would recommend staying here, added bonus of the owners allowing us a late check out so we could have another day in the area and come back for tea.
Hayley
We had an amazing stay at Seamer Manor. We visited to celebrate my husbands 40th and there was plenty of space for the whole family. All rooms were clean and comfortable! The property is a great location, only a 15 minute drive to Scarborough. Craig was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had. The hot tub was very much enjoyed by everyone.
We all felt that that the accommodation was ideal for families, a safe secure garden, the Wendy house was a big hit with our children. It was all very well and generously provisioned, every kitchen gadget provided for keen cooks. A fault with the hot tub was remedied by the owner. Plenty of hot water and good to have the washer and dryer.
Alison
Lovely modern, spacious, well equipped house. Great location for travelling around. Great hot tub and nice garden.

Seamer Manor House was located in the lovely village of Seamer. The property was excellent with all the mod cons you need for a relaxing holiday inc the hot tub which was in regular use by family members after a day out at Scarborough, North York Moors Railway, Filey and Flamingo Land. We had no regrets about our choice of holiday accommodation. The whole family enjoyed the accommodation from 7 to 67..First Class ... Tony and Joanne

This was our second year staying at this house, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Its spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location, close to the beach, with a couple of supermarkets conveniently nearby. Before we arrived, the host, Craig, gave me a call to check in. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend staying here and have no doubt well be back again in the future.
Jessica
We had a brilliant time at Manor House What a great place some lovely walks around and a nice local pub! Deffo recommend as our group of 9 really enjoyed it!
The accommodation is beautiful, situated perfectly for the whole of the East Coast Line. We will be back. Thank you for a lovely Easter break
Joanne
Seamer manor house is a superb place to stay. The house is beautiful exceptionally clean and has everything you need for an amazing time. There was ample room for 8 adults with a lovely garden to sit in and a hot tub to relax in, i would have one suggestion maybe a outdoor heater for when it gets a bit chilly on a night. Overall would highly recommend.
Geoffrey
Excellent property, very well equipped, great location

Great cottage in a good location just outside Scarborough. The house has been done to a high standard, and we had a very comfortable stay. We felt the house needed a deep clean e.g. bathrooms, hot tub and crumbs in the kitchen drawers. Minor things which didn't impact our stay.
Had an amazing week in a beautiful house. We needed for nothing as everything was provided. Hot tub and log stove a bonus would definitely recommend and return. The host Craig was extremely helpful and communicated quickly. Just FANTASTIC!!!!! Thank you Craig.

Stayed here 21st Feb for a week. 4 adults and 3 children. The house is just as beautiful as the pictures. Big open plan kitchen dinerlounge but also a cosy sitting room. All appliances in the kitchen you could ever need and very clean. Beautiful bedrooms and comfortable beds to sleep everyone. The unicorn room was a huge hit with our 6year old. The switch was a highlight for the 12 and 9 year old, Mario kart competitions each evening after a long day out exploring. The hot tub just added to the amazing feel of the house. Walking distance to local pubs and shop and only short drive to ScarboroughWhitbyBridlington. This house has everything you would need whether you are a couplegroup of friends or a family. The extra little finishing touches just added to the experience, towels for the hot tub different games in the cupboards and a few toys in the kids room. Little toiletries for each guest. Everything is thought of and covered. Weve been back 2 days and Im already wondering when I can book back up!
Simone
This was our second visit to this property and will definitely return again. As a group of ladies we all have fast busy lives and need a place to chill out, the Manor House is just the place. The house was warm and welcoming on arrival and we love the open plan first floor where we can all be together. The hot tub is a bonus at the end of the day enjoying a glass of bubbles in there together. The owner is always contactable and nothing is ever a problem to him. Thanks Craig.
Thank you for an amazing stay at the property! Everything was thought of! It was amazing
Excellent set up, amazing facilities. Attention to detail in every bedroom cleanliness. Had sky in most rooms with sky sports and movies. Hot tube really good and excellent kitchen lounge area. Good for group bookings. We had birthday celebrations, good for bbq. Location wise not far from scarborough, good base Location and then explore from there.
This house is exactly as it looks on the pictures and what should have been a freak week for me and my family we left early! The house was FILTHY so so so disappointed and upset it ruined my stay at the house. No cleaning products to clean with, no hot tub cleaning products so hot in was green ! Emailed the pictures of the place and no response !!!
Amanda
Absolutely amazing family weekend. This property was everything we needed and more. There was a Nintendo switch, sky TV a selection of board games, a Wendy house in the garden for the kids. The kitchen is very well equipped everything you could possibly need. Made a home from home for us. perfect location for Scarborough and flamingo land which we visited both.
Lovely house ! As a Family of 9 we found it spacious and comfortable and especially loved the open plan design of kitchen and the coffee machine ! It would be a bonus to have a cover over the hot tub so it can be used in all weathers. Thanks for a great stay !
Debbie
Lovely property, very comfortable, would recommend and would stay again. Would like to apologise realise on way home forget to empty kitchen bin... sorry
A property with a wow factor. Nice and quiet but within walking distance of the main street with shop, pub, chip shop and lovely cafedeli. Great base for attractions in and around Scarborough and also within easy driving distance of Filey, Bridlington and Whitby. Comfortable beds in lovely rooms, though the top floor room would benefit from a fan because the window is very small. Nice bathrooms but watch out for the slow draining, walk in showers. A useful enclosed back garden was perfect for sitting out, keeping our dog safe. There is a large hot tub too. The owner, Craig, was very friendly and quick to sort out any issues we had. As a family of 8 adults, we had a lovely time here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Victoria
A beautiful house in a beautiful location! We will definitely be back
Lovely house, well decorated and very clean. Ideal for a family event and made good use of the hot tub. Caught the train to Scarborough which was just a 6 minute ride away. Enjoyed the local parkrun which is 10 minutes away by car. Lovely and quiet location. Will definitely book this again
A beautiful property. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. This was our second time staying here and won't be our last.
Stunning house let down by some minor things, especially for the price. Bedding was low quality with lumpy quilts. The coffee machine needed a clean. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay in the Seamer Manor house and these minor things can be easily remedied. A welcome pack would also have been appreciated as is usually the norm in this type of accommodation.
Louise
Absolutely beautiful property with everything we needed nothing has been overlooked. Would highly recommend this property. We are a family with 3 generations from 5 up to 72 and was perfect for us all.
Joanne
We had a fabulous week at The Manor House. The house is amazing and very homely. Craig the owner went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok and even popped in for a beer with us. We will definitely be returning.
Great property with lovely furnishings. Owner Craig was very helpful and available for any questions we had. All round perfect trip
Simone
Eight ladies stayed at the Manor House this weekend, the photos do not do the property justice. This house is stunning, warm, comfortable and in a beautiful setting. The owner was available by phone if any issues and even made sure the house was dressed for Christmas on request. We used the hot tub which was spotless and huge, you need to add in the description towels available as that was a lovely touch. We will definitely return to the Manor House.
What is not to like about the Manor House. Beautiful kitchen dining lounge area. Its a huge space. Super comfy beds. And a lovely hot tub The house is down a small lane so no traffic noise. However within walking distance of the pub. Seamer is perfectly placed for exploring Scarborough Filey Bridlington and Whitby. Seamer even has its own train station with direct trains to the coast. Craig is on call should you need him. We didnt. We were a family party with kids and partners in early 20s and all want to go back Book the Manor House you really wont be disappointed

We stayed at manor house for a family celebration it was amazing the house was stunning everything in the house you needed beds were all made up plenty of towels for the hot tub to we could not fault anything would highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay, host was very warm in reaching out ahead of time in case we had any questions. Allowed early entry when available. Beautiful property, we had a great time! Will definitely be visiting again.
Louise
Gorgeous house, we were very comfortable and happy with it. High quality appliances and finish. Couple of things needed a little attention, left a note for owner, coffee machine was brilliant, just needed a clean, that sort of thing. We would recommend it in a heartbeat though
Rebecca
Beautifully presented property, facilities were amazing, felt very clean and homely. Myself and my friends who stayed absolutely loved our time there. Thank you.
Beautiful holiday home, well equipped and comfortable. The facilities were good, huge TVs and a lovely hot tub. Lots of space inside and parking for a large family gathering. To improve I would suggest redecorating the single room in a more neutral colour, it is currently very feminine not to the taste of teenage grandsons! The travel cot is small, only suitable for a baby not a toddler. I would like more housekeeping information how to work the microwave, when to put bins out etc. Overall a really nice property which we would be happy to return to in future.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and will definitely be booking again. The only suggestion I would make is a pool table in the smaller living room or in the room to the right if the front door as you come in. This is a personal choice and not a criticism I just think it would be a real asset for families like mine with varied agegroups. Excellent all round as usual.
We had a gorgeous stay here with beautiful weather. In a private off road area with really lovely walks. A really big house to host a partyfamily gathering and a really friendly, helpful owner
We had a fantastic stay. Lovely house with excellent facilities and plenty to do in the local area.
We have just returned home after a fantastic week at Manor House and we cant praise it enough. Beautiful decor throughout and all the facilities we could need, along with a lovely big garden for us all to enjoy. Craig owner was very helpful also, letting us know of local attractions and we were even able to access the property early which with a small child was so helpful. We will definitely be returning.
