This property is not suitable for people with mobility issues, the steps leading up to property are a little steep and looked slippery when wet. Having said that the place was clean and well maintained. Parking could be an issue if you had a difficult neighbour. The hot tub is tucked around the side which I like for privacy. Overall a nice place with friendly staff around.
Really excellent holiday cottage, very clean, lovely little welcome items, pictures are accurate. the location on the holiday park was great, the kids used the play equipment and we used the bar outdoor seating. close to Scarborough and other places to visit. the only thing that could improve it kight be a slight rearranging of furniture, the angle of the TV made it slightly tricky to use the dining table for e.g reading a board game, while others were watching TV
We had 3 nights here and it was a lovely cottage. The hot tub was great once it got up to temperature, clean and roomy. The lodge was clean and everything we needed was there. Plenty of parking space and friendly people.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Woodside. It had everything we wanted and was so peaceful too. When I first arrived on the site and was driving through the site towards Woodside, I thought to myself, this is busier than Id expectedbut ..turn the corner and youre in a quiet peaceful oasis at Woodside. Just what we needed. Would I go back, definitely, would I recommend, definitely. Very friendly and helpful staff too

Just returned home after 5 brilliant nights staying in Woodside, 3 of us and 2 small dogs. What a wonderful place. The cottage is lovely, modern and clean, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is even a dedicated grassy area for exercising your dog, perfect for an early morning & late evening leg stretch. The location is ideal, nestled in the stunning Yorkshire countryside, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet only minutes drive from bustling Scarborough and handy to head out to Whitby and other places. Staff are friendly, attentive and always on hand, daily lifting rubbish, watering plants and checking the hot tub, and checking if everything is OK with the cottage. And then there are the peacocks! Watching them added a whole other dimension to our stay. One of them returned each evening to roost in a tree near our cottage, perching on the fence beside our hot tub before settling for the night, a routine we looked forward to every evening. We were even treated to a full display of his tail feathers fanned out on our final day magical. I can highly recommend Woodside for a relaxing, enjoyable break.
A lovely time had by all 4 of us and our 2 dogs. Chalet was nice and modern, very light and airy. We weren't overlooked and had nice views from all windows.

What an amazing place. .. On arrival the place was spotless and we all said wow look at this place. It's big and spacious and very very comfortable. The caretaker came up as we arrived to make sure we got in OK and to explain a few things too us. The hot tub was checked by them daily and topped up. It has every thing you need except a washing machine which would be handy on longer stays, however it doesnt state there is one so we were aware that we couldn't do laundry. The decking is big and spacious and the hot tubs out of sight so it's pretty private. There is 2 resident peacocks called Freddie and Eddie who like bread and cheese and they can put on a lovely display if your lucky. There is also a bar onsite only open in the quiet times Fri and sat however in the warmer busier months it's open more. There is also a little snack shack behind the bar near the kids play area serving food and its very reasonable. The lodges are located at the very top quiet corner of the park and really it is soo quiet up there. Its perfectly located for the East coast days out too with scarbrough only 510 mins away. You wouldn't know you were so close to the coast as its like being on a woodland retreat. Thanks for an amazing stay and we will be booking again soon.
We had a death in our family and could not make the date. I tried to change the date and it was refused. I will never use sykes cottages again
The location of this property is so peaceful and enjoyable. The property is very comfortable and warm. Could do with some instructions for the hot tub and a coat stand but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to revisit next year

The accommodation was modern & clean with nice little touches home from home feel. The only thing I didn't like was the shower isn't very powerful but that's not your fault & you have option for a bath
