A lovely couple welcomed us on arrival,an interesting story that they built the lodge during lockdown. A 5 year old building, it felt like we were walking into a brand new home as the decoration and cleanliness was impeccable.Im in the trade and found his workmanship exemplary.A two day break we had, beautiful views whilst relaxing in the hot tub, excellent little quirks made it feel homely. Lovely welcome pack. We live 20 mins away so know the area. Didnt want to go too far as a baby grandson was imminent. Found this gem and we will definitely be returning.. we love the place.

Your quick action in contacting the hospital and accompanying us there meant a great deal, and what could have been a stressful moment turned into a memory well always treasure.

I had the best holiday here, everything was perfect, the owners were great, the location is brilliant with plenty of walks and stunning nature, on a clear night, the stars are absolutely amazing due to the low light pollution. I'll definitely be booking again probably within the next few months and would 100 recommend this place.

What a beautiful place this was to stay, both the facilities and the surrounding area were amazing. The Garden studio had everything you need and much more for a relaxing break away. Lovely modern decor, very clean and lots of utensils for cooking. The welcome package was great especially the homemade fudge which was quickly eaten.

We have just booked to return to this wonderful studio again. It is stunning, Alan, you have built our favourite cottage in the North of Scotland. Sheila is the perfect host, always ready to help. Nothing seems too much trouble, and a lovely smile as well. Our only regret was we had to leave a day early due to the storm. So much to do nearby. Many NT castles and the coast with memories of Local Hero. Highly recommended.

Stunning, from arriving we were met and welcomed by our friendly hosts. The property is immaculate, and the welcomed box of bread, milk, butter and homemade fudge was a very nice surprise. The views from the patio and from the relaxing hot tub over Bennachie hill in the distance is beautiful. Will 100 recommend garden studio to friends and family, we will definitely be back as 1 week simply wasn't long enough.

Wow! What a truly amazing place. Sheila & Allan made us feel so welcome. They clearly take pride in the property & rightly so. They seem to have thought of everything. There was even an air fryer! The studio was spotlessly clean, cosy and had such amazing views. The hot tub was a welcome addition at the end of a day of exploring. Whenever we put any used towels in the laundry basket, they were instantly washed and replaced. This is a real gem of a find perfect for two people. Numerous castles in the area and walking routes. Coast not far away and Aberdeen too. Just a really brilliant stay.

Sheila and Allan were very welcoming hosts, they couldn't do enough for you and the quality of the Garden Studio was first class. Clean, comfortable with everything you need for a perfect holiday. We had a very peaceful week enjoying the view from the terrace in the sunshine and venturing out occasionally to enjoy the lovely countryside. I would highly recommend this lovely Garden Studio.

We have stayed in many self catering properties and 'The Garden Studio' was absolutely wonderful. It certainly had so many extras which you would not expect. It really felt so much like a home from home. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Will definately be having a return visit.

The property is located just outside Insch within rolling countryside surrounded by open farm land. The facilities are immaculate and the property is laid out well. There is a separate laundry room attached to the property and includes the use of the hot tub. You will be pleasantly surprised by the welcome pack which included home made fudge, bread, milk, cookies and butter, tea and coffee were also on hand so you can enjoy a relaxing cuppa before unpacking. Sheila and Allan the hosts were wonderful and welcoming were on hand if needed for any queries. This property is a credit to them both and wont be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

What a wonderful stay at the 'Garden Studio', placed in the quiet countryside of Aberdeenshire it did not disappoint. The cottage was spotless, held everything we needed for our stay, with the lovely welcome pack fudge amazing to the wonderful welcome from Sheila and Allan. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Garden Cottage. It had everything we needed and the added luxury of a hot tub, just what was required after a long cycle ride or a day hiking in the mountains. It's central location helped us explore the area, and if required we could have popped down to the village of Insch to catch a train to Aberdeen but it never rained so we didn't utilise this option. I will definitely consider returning here for another week to explore more pockets and hidden treats in Aberdeenshire and Morayshire.

Can't think of anything else the Garden Studio requires to enhance our stay. That along with the warm reception that we always get makes it first class.

Just back from a short break away from home , and as you drive up to the property its a big wow from there onwards , the view is amazing , the lodge is something else , and when you walk inside the wow never stops , its set out so beautiful, and has everything you could possibly want , and the welcome pack on top just made it , the owners came and introduced themselves, and let us know they were there if we needed them , and never seen them again , they just left us toget on with our stay , the hot tub was a great big plus, and the Xmas lights around the garden at night was lovely, just couldnt wish for anything better , definitely worth every penny ,

So happy we chose Garden Studio for our week holiday Aberdeenshire. The accommodation was well equipped, beautifully furnished, cosy, clean and tidy. It was very relaxing to spend our afternoons sitting on the porch or in the hot tub and enjoy the views to the nearby hills of Bennachie and Dunnydeer. We found the location to be very convenient for visiting the local historical towns and attractions. Owners Sheila and Allen were very welcoming and included a basket of tasty treats in the kitchen on our arrival. We whole heartedly recommend Garden Studio!!!
