Feus Holiday Cottage Reviews

This was our 3rd time using this property ,the facilities are second to none 5 star infact , the kichen is very well equipped the welcome pack is very generous. Auchterarder and the property are central to all the places we like to visit .The owner David has been very thorough with the information on the area . And after a long day sightseeing there is the hot tub to dip into and relax, perfect end to the day .
Really enjoyed my week here for mine and my hubbys 1st wedding anniversary. The place is lovely and had everything we needed. Hot tub was the perfect added bonus and the area was fantastic with some nice cafes, a shop and takeaways. We had breakfast at cafe kisa which was really nice. Was definitely a place to relax and unwind.
The owner David was very helpful and pleasant. We had no issues and we were greatful for the welcome pack. Lovely place, lovely locals excellent break.
We booked this cottage for my 75th Birthday as it was in an area we know well and it had a hot tub. The cottage has everything you need it feels comfortable and homely. It did not disappoint and there are lots of amazing places to visit with in a short driving distance. We relaxed every night in the hot tub after our walks. What more can you ask for.

Just back from an amazing holiday, Feus Cottage was a great base for getting out and about and exploring Scotland, and there is nothing better than getting back to a comfortable cottage and hot tub after a long day of hiking. The local people are lovely, and some great local places for food so you dont have to venture too far.
We have stayed in many cottages over the years this is one of the best! A really lovely holiday cottage, everything to an exceptional high standard. Communication from our hosts was so helpful, the cottage itself was so chic, absolutely everything you need is there. They have really given a lot of thought and care to your holiday experience, those little extras that make it so special, a lovely welcome pack, robes for the hot tub and the most comfortable bed! We had a great holiday week and will definitely return again. Thank you!
We had a fantastic stay. Its a gorgeous cottage with great facilities and lovely additional touches, like robes and a welcome package. Great communication from the owner too. Highly recommend it.
Absolutely beautiful property. Theyve thought of everything. Including plastic glasses for the hot tub. Very clean and spacious and the owners are super helpful. Not sure the next cottage we book can beat this for amenities and value for money. It sets a high bar! Roy bulldog also enjoyed his stay with the spacious garden and provided towels and bowls.
A stunning place in a quaint little village. We were provided with a brilliant starter pack including bread, jam, marmalade, butter, eggs, milk and a lovely bottle of Prosecco. The home was delightful, too. Stylish, modern comfortable and immaculately kept. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The hot tub was brilliant, the garden sizeable and the covered pergola was superb to have a morning drink in. We absolutely will be back. Communication from the owner was excellent and kind, too.
The cottage is fantastic. Immaculate well designed and stylishly decorated. It's warm, cosy and very comfortable with a great size bed, and plenty of hanging space. Lovely hosts left us a beautiful welcome pack and made us feel very welcome. Provided great information before our arrival. It has a great outdoor space fabulous hot tub and the access to the little room at the back of the house is great for drying wet towels etc. It is right in the heart of the town so everything is on hand good bus service to local area's if you don't want to take the car. Lovely places to eat in the town and locally. The cottage has everything you could possibly need in a great location we had a wonderful stay would happily stay again and recommend it to anyone. Thank you for providing a wonderful welcome we had a fantastic holiday
Denise
Very comfortable and clean house. The outdoor space was welcome especially as we had some sunny and warm weather. Very nice peaceful walks on the doorstep and local shops on hand. Would recommend for a restful break.
We had a lovely relaxing stay with our family of three and our beloved family dog. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy to find easy to access. Would recommend. They even left us a lovely welcome note and a bottle of prosecco. Thank you
Michelle
The property was spotless, a lovely, thoughtful welcome pack was awaiting us, the Presecco was much appreciated as we were there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and a birthday, so thankyou David for that! It is an ideal base to explore the local area and further afield. The local park was nice to walk around, and the Gleneagles ground near by was stunning. A visit to Calllander, Perth and Comrie was enjoyable and a paddle in Loch Earn was relaxing and views that were breathtaking. Then to come back to a soothing hot tub and a comfortable king size bed was truly perfect. Highly recommended to recharge the batteries, get back to nature in a lovely , quiet property with everything to hand . Thank you David, keep up the good work Michelle and Brian
The perfect holiday cottage! So well designed, comfortable to relax in and fantastic location being only 30 mins from most tourist spots. They have all your little home comforts you need. Super dog friendly! The hot tub is a dream at the end of the day. The Superking bed was excellent! The little village is really cute and has plenty of good choices for food. Absolute 1010 from us, would recommend and definitely stay again.
The cottage was well prepared with a very generous welcome pack waiting for us. Comfortable seating and bed along with a very good walk in shower. The location was ideal for visiting many attractions and we look forward to revisiting in the near future
Rachael
Absolutely fantastic week. The cottage was absolutely amazing and Dave was such a great host. Really central location for sight seeing and plenty to do locally. Only gripe I have which is probably a more personal one which probably doesn't bother most, but the garden is described as enclosed, which it is, but there is the tiniest of fences between you and the next door neighbour.
Would highly recommend this lovely cottage, the owner was so attentive, we even ... Would highly recommend this lovely cottage, the owner was so attentive, we even had a welcome gift, nothing was too much trouble, we will definitely stay here again
Lovely cottage very clean and comfortable
Excellent holiday home, very comfortable, calming and well equipped. Massive bedroom. I had a really relaxing time here and loved exploring the area too. Was great in the lovely weather as could have the doors wide open and enjoy the outside area. Would stay again and have recommended to friends.
A great spot and ideal for me and the dog, in a great location. A really comfortable house that is well maintained and presented. Would definitely use again. Many Thanks
Louise
We spent a lovely few days at this little gem of a cottage, it really felt like home from home. Plenty of local walks for our dog and spoilt for choice with all the places to eat and the hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of the day. David the owner was so helpful with all the information he gave us. We will definitely return and would highly recommend a visit. Louise, Karl & Wallace

We had a really great couple of days at Feus. The owners left us a generous Easter hamper which was thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. The cottage was really modern, very comfortable and cosy. On the door step to some beautiful walks and of course Gleneagles although I played locally at Crieff instead. Even better was the hot tub, which we enjoyed both nights, we were blessed with clear skies so really enjoyed getting lost in the starry night sky. Feus was pawfect for our dog billy too, as mentioned we enjoyed some walks in the local area, before coming back to settle with a good film. Would 100 recommend and will be returning in the future.
Lovely cottage within walking distance restaurants, cafe's and pubs. Decor was first class. The hot tub was a bonus after our lovely walks. The garden was just right for our dog and she loved the 'dog house'. This cottage was the closest to perfect we have stayed in. We will definitely be back
Caryll
Feus cottage is immaculate, beautifully appointed and the perfect base for a stay in Auchterarder whether remaining local or venturing further afield in Perthshire. Everything you might imagine you need is provided even down to dishwasher tablets and a cocktail making kit not used in conjunction!. The cottage is fully modernised inside but retains a cosy character. Despite being dog friendly, previous dog presence is undetectable. Our dog was at home very quickly and loved the nearby walks, including treks around the grounds of Gleneagles Hotel. Dave was a responsive, friendly and helpful host. The welcome pack was a lovely treat, too. Thoroughly recommend Feus cottage the hot tub with its built in WiFi speakers was a welcome feature too that made getting outside in February very positive. Sad to leave, which is the litmus test for a fantastic break...
This is what we call a just add clothes holiday because every little detail has been so thoughtfully planned by the owners that you really dont need to worry about anything! The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring near and far, with so much to do you will undoubtedly need to book to stay here again. A plethora of shops, restaurants and takeaways are all within walking distance. Even the best holiday cottages you stay at usually have a compromise of some description but we really didnt find one here. Perfect for us and our dog, we loved every minute of our stay here.
Louise
Lovely cottage close lots of shops and restaurants. Good dog walks in the area. Hot tub great and lovely welcome pack.
Spent a fantastic week relaxing in this lovely cottage. Everything was exceptional, from the amazingly comfortable bed too the lovely welcome package they thought about everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the Hot Tub every night, even in the rain. Gave us a base to explore and great shopping in Auchterarder itself we visited as a couple with our Westie who settled in well. Would highly recommend. Jim, Debby & Fergus the Westie

Third visit to this lovely cottage says it all. Bed still comfy. Great shower with nice toiletries supplied. Loads of cleaning products in kitchen and utility. Ironing board is in the bedroom cupboard. Milk in the fridge. No problems parking. Good eateries in Auchterarder. Delvino a very short walk. Great communication from David before our stay.
Just back from a nice relaxing break at Feus cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful with great attention to detail in its furnishings. A great wee welcome pack to get you going. Our highlight was sitting in the hot tub on a clear starry night. Auchterarder itself has lots of places to eat or get a takeaway from. The surrounding area has lots of towns to explore. Communication from David before and during our stay was first class. Would definitely recommend a visit
Our wedding weekend
We stayed in this beautiful accommodation the weekend of our wedding, it could not have been more enjoyable. Everything was to the highest of standards and there was clearly a lot of thought that had gone in to the cottage looking at the decor and the quirky trinkets about the place. I would say that the cottage was better than any bridal suite you would get. Fantastic lay out and conveniently situated within the town, not far from the main shops/pubs. The wedding venue was 9nly a 5 minute drive as well. Everything was clean and the instructions on how to use the appliances/hot tub were very clearly documented in the welcome book. We had a fantastic stay here, the neighbour even came to wave me off for my wedding, it was lovely
Andrew
We had a fantastic holiday at Feus Cottage. We got a very detailed email from David before we arrived packed full of information regarding the property, nearby eateries etc that was a huge help for us. Also responded with lots of dog friendly places for us to go. The cottage itself was great, very clean and beautifully decorated. Location wise it's also great, Auchterarder is a lovely town full of independant shops and cafes, and also a great base for visiting various areas of Scotland.
Caroline
We could not have asked for a better place to stay. House was great, hot tub a bonus. The town itself was a perfect base to see Scotland. Lovely individual shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.
William
The building work next door really spoiled things we actually thought about going home early but didn't. Everything else was great but had we known about the builders we may have cancelled.
The cottage looked exactly the same as in the photos. It was clean and comfortable. We didn't get to meet Dave but he did keep in contact for any recommendations or assistance that he could provide. A lovely welcome pack was awaiting us when we got there and the directions were accurate so no problem finding the cottage. The hot tub was a welcome treat at the end of a busy day. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely cottage in a good location. Had everything we needed to enjoy our break
We had such a lovely relaxing break at the beautiful Feus Cottage! David was very helpful and informative, giving us lots of ideas of what to do in the area. The cottage was decorated beautifully, had everything we needed for our stay and was super cosy. We were so pleased with our beautiful welcome pack too so very thoughtful and appreciated. Our dog Yogi also had a wonderful time he especially loved sniffing around the garden and cuddling up with his blanket in the dog house. Thank you for the fab hospitality and we will definitely be back!
Feus Cottage is very comfortable and well maintained. For a small cottage it is surprisingly spacious with a choice of dining areas, indoor or covered patio. Bedroom and bathroom are stylish, comfortable and well appointed. The owner was extremely helpful and provided good, clear information about the cottage, local restaurants and places of interest. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend the cottage and the locality and we hope to return for a longer stay.
This property warrants more than 5 stars . The additional information from the property owner the handwritten welcome card and gift all show their attention to detail .This is reflected throughout the cottage , this cottage is fantastic, and pet friendly. Auchterarder has everything , we enjoyed exploring this area of Scotland Will definitely book again . Thank you David Jules
Fantastically comfortable, wellequipped and beautifully maintained property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, made all the more special with the welcoming pack provided. Owner David was really great so can not recommend his cottage highly enough.

Active Kid Adventure Park - DG7 3ET
about 15 Miles
Active Kid Adventure Park is the place to go if you have energetic children and are looking for a fun day out. The site boasts many attractions including a Zip Line, Target Football, Go Karts, Play Areas, Pony Rides and Crazy Golf. There are also some friendly farm animals to meet including a docile Donkey. Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 29 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
