Are there history lovers among you? Don’t miss a trip to Salisbury Cathedral (9 miles), where you can see Britain’s tallest spire, explore Britain’s largest Cathedral Close and Cloisters, see the world’s oldest mechanical clock and the best-preserved original 1215 Magna Carta.

You can also go horse riding for an equestrian discovery of the area’s scenic trails. On arrival, a few gentle steps lead you up to the cottage, where a warm and welcoming atmosphere sets the tone.

The open-plan living area combines rustic charm and modern comfort, with exposed beams, comfortable seating for four and a Smart TV – excellent for relaxed evenings. In the dining area, complete with a wooden-topped table, you can play board games and eat tasty meals, cooked up in the well-equipped kitchen which sits in one corner.
