The town is also a bit of a 'foodie' destination and is packed with numerous terrific restaurants including the award-winning Porthminster Beach Café.

Nearby, the small village of Lelant overlooks the Hayle Estuary, and boasts a the Duchy’s oldest golf course with views stretching up towards Godrevy Lighthouse.
