4 Horizon View Reviews

Rebecca
We were very happy with our stay at 4 horizon view. Beautiful, quiet location & well presented. Lovely & clean. Instructions were clear and well communicated ready for arrival at the property. We had an issue with the ensuite bathroom door handle coming loose and locking one of the party in the bathroom on the second day of our stay. This was reported and rectified swiftly by Sally & the maintenance team. We would definitely be interested in booking again in future, thank for a lovely relaxing break.
It was the best short break I have ever had better than going abroad we are ... It was the best short break I have ever had better than going abroad we are definitely coming back again and again we loved every minute of it would recommend this place to anyone thank you

Lovely location villa is dated and could do with a freshen up. Scuff marks on the wall in the smallest room. Hot tub again was the most basic and missing a nozzle.

The photos are a bit misleading, but we still really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The best thing was the towels, large and fluffy you can't find them everywhere. Thank you.
Such a lovely location! We will be back

The lodge was immaculate and homely. The beds were very comfortable. The lodge was well maintained and very clean. The hot tub was immaculate and maintained daily. The views were just as advertised. The staff in reception were friendly and very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped to create meals from scratch. Our only tiny criticism was the recycling, we could only find a bin for recycling glass. Apart from this, every detail was thought of and contributed to a great break away, home from home. We are hoping to book another week with Charter Oak lodges. Excellent value for money.
Lovely place with great views.

Our lodge had everytdirections ing we could need with beautiful uninterrupted views. Everybody enjoyed the hot tub to return home to after a cold and wet day. Perfectly positioned for coastal walks in one direction, Tamar valley and Bodmin moors in opposite directions and The Eden project and Bodmin jai all about 20 mins from the property.

This was a return visit to Charteroaks and as before, we had a lovely stay surrounded in nature! We will definitely be returning soon!

Stayed at Horizon 4. Fantastic location within the park overlooking open countryside in a private setting. Lovely and clean with comfortable bedding. Stayed at the end of June and the park was very quiet. Central location but as with all of Cornwall you have to travel some miles to get to the coastal towns and beaches.

Avoid Completely Disgusting Experience at Horizon View 4 This was hands down the worst holiday accommodation Ive ever stayed in. The cleanliness was horrific from the moment we arrived. I had to sleep in a single bed with my nearly 6yearold because Bedroom 3 had a strong mouldy, musty smell that made it completely uninhabitableyou genuinely couldnt sleep there without feeling ill. We reported the issues and were told to vacate the property for over two hours, yet returned to find no real improvementthe mould smell was still overwhelming. The second bedroom was no better. We found six spiders, and ended up hoovering and gutting the room ourselves due to how filthy it was. The bath trim was black with grime, the toilet roll holders were badly rusted, and the kitchen floor and chairs were covered in food debris. The final straw was discovering, on removing bed sheets at the end of the stay, a large urine stain on the mattress protector in the master bedroomcompletely disgusting and unacceptable. Management were unprofessional, and unhelpful. Due to the conditions, we had no choice but to leave two days earlysleeping in a cramped single bed with a child was unbearable. The overall state of the property was shocking. Do not book this place. It is unhealthy, unclean, and totally mismanaged.
We had a wonderful stay. A beautiful place to celebrate our friends birthday. Comfortably fit five of us in without worry. Easy check in and out and the location was simple to find. Gorgeous views my personal favourite was watching farmers in the field each morning. Thank you for letting us stay and I am sure we will be back soon!
Such a fabulous place can not wait to re visit ! I could not find any faults and i travel alot wendy
An excellent property in a quiet and spacious estate with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from the lounge
You really have a wonderful hidden place. We loved the cottage and the view was amazing. The highlight, for my son, I think was the hot tub, we loved it too
We had a fantastic time in 4 Horizon View. The lodge was immaculately clean and was very well equipped. The lodge itself was spacious and cosy. 1 improvement suggestion would be to add some draws for clothes. There was ample wardrobe space. The site itself is very well maintained and spacious. The location was superb, about a 15 min drive to Looe. 5 mins to Liskeard which was great for picking up some bits and pieces from Morrisons. Overall, excellent place to stay and would certainly return!

It was perfect, the lodge was perfect for us family of 4, very spacious! Kids has their own room which was great. The hot tub was amazing with the view made a perfect setting, very tranquil. The grassed area too outside the lodge was great for our football loving 11 year old, he was able to enjoy the outside as much as he would at home. Reception messaged and phoned to make sure we were happy with everything which I thought was lovely
Everything was good. Some feedback, the kitchen tap has a leak and would be ideal if fixed, also kitchen cupboard door containing glasses would be better if opened from left to right for access from the kitchen side. The to remote in the bedroom not working, possibly flat batteries.
Lovely property, we enjoyed our stay. A good addition would be an outside parasol and stand for the hot weather. A fan would also be a good addition. Would definitely go back to this property and recommend it to others.
The lodge was lovely and we all enjoyed staying there. The views were stunning and we didnt feel overlooked at all. My only suggestion for improvement would be to fix the blinds in the bedrooms as one was broken and others were not fully working or wonky. This was only a minor thing and didnt detract from our stay in any way. The lodge was very comfortable, hot tub was great. Everything worked as it should, wifi was good, plenty of hot water etc. We would happily stay there again.
We had a lovely stay here, didn't want to leave. Accommodation was lovely and clean with an amazing view plus the hot tub was a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Will definitely be returning.
