About 4 Valley View

Set within peaceful Cornish countryside and just a short drive from Looe and Polperro, 4 Valley View is a well-appointed lodge offering privacy, open views and a relaxing rural setting near Lanreath. Surrounded by woodland, lakes and abundant wildlife, it’s an ideal base for couples, families or friends seeking space, tranquillity and easy access to the south coast’s best-loved spots.

The open-plan living area is bright and inviting, designed for sociable stays. A comfortable seating area and TV create the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring, while large doors open onto the enclosed decking, extending your living space outdoors.

The private hot tub is the headline act here; sink into the warm bubbles with a glass in hand and let the stillness of the countryside do the rest. On clear nights, the dark skies put on a decent show too.

The kitchen is fully equipped for stress-free self-catering, whether that’s a quick breakfast before the beach or a relaxed evening meal around the dining table. If you fancy a night off, The Old Mill Bar & Restaurant on site serves wood-fired pizzas, family favourites and signature cocktails, all within strolling distance, no need to nominate a driver.

Two thoughtfully furnished bedrooms promise a restful night’s sleep, complete with quality linens and plush bedding. A contemporary bathroom, featuring both bath and shower, makes freshening up effortless after coastal walks or beach days.

Beyond the lodge, you’re perfectly placed to explore. Looe offers a classic Cornish harbour, sandy beach and boat trips, while Polperro charms with narrow streets and picture-perfect cottages.

Further afield, discover Fowey’s independent shops, the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan or the wild beauty of Bodmin Moor. Beach lovers can choose from East Looe Beach, Talland Bay, Seaton and Lantic Bay, many dog-friendly year-round and ideal for paddling, rockpooling or simply stretching out with a sea view.

4 Valley View Reviews

Stuart
What a lovely 4 night break in this perfect lodge. Full of light, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and a lush hot tub. Thank you to the owners, we will be returning.
We had a great time in 4 Valley View. Clean and comfortable and we also enjoyed the amenities on site. Thank you.
A really beautiful lodge set in a quiet location with views of the surrounding valley. The Lodge was very clean and modern and spacious. Lots of living space and amazing modern kitchen which Included everything for us to enjoy the christmas period. Beds were super comfortable and the master bedroom comes with en suite. The outside deck is large and includes a hot. The onsite pub is a very short walk down the hill and food was great and stad very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this property.

We have stayed at both Southern Halt and Stonerush Lakes in the past and have never had any issues. Although we had a lovely stay this time around, there were a few issues with the lodge we stayed in Toilet seat in the master bedroom en suite was very loose, no extra toilet roll for a 7 night stay, fridge making constant strange noises the whole week, no cleaning materials e.g. surface cleaner spray and extra bin bags.

Fantastic lodge nestled away in stonerush lakes. The lodge was in excellent condition and very comfortable to relax in after a day exploring the beauty of Cornwall. The hot tub was a brilliant addition to the lodge as always and was perfectly placed to enjoy in private. I can not fault the lodge at all. Overall a perfect lodge ideally located to explore the majority of Cornwall. We have booked our holiday through Sykes for the last few years and they never disappoint.

The property was gorgeous and in our opinion after looking at the others available on the site it's the main one we'd go back too. Lovely views, really spacious, close to the Old Mill but enough out of the way to still be peaceful. Inside provided everything we'd need for our stay from brilliant sized rooms, a huge kitchenliving roomdinning area, perfect sized bathrooms and a handy utility room. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed and the utilities in the kitchen worked brilliantly. WiFi and a smart TV were a big bonus for watching our streamed shows and we brought a PS5 to watch DVDs and play some games on too. Obviously we can't not mention the hot tub which was a lovely size for us and together with the peace and quiet and the splendid views was unbeatable after a long day on our feet. The only hiccups we would mention is that a few more dishwasher tabs could be provided for those stopping a week as we only had 2 for our stay and also that some plates we found in the cupboard hadn't been cleaned properly so a proper check on those before others stopping would be nice. Regardless of the very few negatives though we'd 100 recommend this site and this specific lodge to anyone looking for somewhere down in Cornwall.
All good thanks
Fabulous modern well equipped and comfortable lodge in an elevated position. Great wraparound decking with two outdoor seating areas and well maintained hot tub. Enjoyed the tranquil setting and lakeside walks. The excellent communication and onsite guidance and support from Laura and Gemma was very much appreciated. I look forward to returning to Stonerush Lakes and this lodge in the not too distant future.
Was a lovely stay! Will definitely be back.

We spent two wonderful days in these apartments. We slept well and enjoyed the hot tub. A wonderful little vacation in complete comfort and coziness. Everything worked perfectly and at the highest level.

Accuracy of the listing I didnt give a big smiley face because we didnt know there were a few more steps than those shown in the picture. Normally this wouldnt be a problem, but our friend uses a powered wheelchair so to charge it we had to get it up the steps and our friend had to walkslowly up to the lodge. Using the hot tub was great and the decked area is a great space. Can I suggest some outdoor plastic glasses and plates to be used with the hot tub and if eating outside in the summer dont want to break glass on the decking. The double bedroom with ensuite was lovely! Can I suggest a door stop behind the ensuite door to stop the door handle catching the wardrobe door. Parking spaces are a good size. Maybe a turning area between 6 & 5 Vally Viewjust an idea. We had a lovely stay and would return. Our feedback is positive with just some ideas you might like to look at.

The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable and cosy and we really enjoyed our stay. A nice touch was the hot tub.especially welcome after we had enjoyed exploring the beautiful coastline, particularly at Polperro and Fowey and taking the ferry across. We thoroughly enjoyed the local golf course at Looe and the coarse fishery at Bakes. The lodge was in a great location central to exploring lovely North Cornwall.

We were delighted with 4 Valley View and immediately felt very at home. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a modern wellequipped and well furnished lodge. It was clean and looked almost new. The furnishings and fittings are all excellent quality. Delighted to find shaving sockets in both bathrooms for toothbrush charging and the usb plug sockets next to each bedside table and in the kitchen were really useful, little things like this make it stand out from other places. Having a separate boot roomutility area with a washing machine and sink was an unexpected bonus Id have packed laundry supplies if Id known so it would be useful to mention the washing machine in the property description. The site itself was well kept and very quiet. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet with only birdsong to break the silence. The hot tub was spotlessly clean and very relaxing to use. We used the on site Old Mill Restaurant on a couple of occasions, the food was good and despite one occasion when they were clearly very short of staff, the service was good and we received a complimentary round of drinks to make up for having to wait a long time for our meals. Wed definitely book this lodge again, it really is lovely!
Amazing holiday the lodge exceeded all our expectations. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. We had one meal out at the site restaurant, food and service excellent. Site setting amazing and very well maintained cant fault it.

This was a lovely spacious lodge in a very peaceful location. The lodge was very comfortable and equipped to a high standard with dishwasher and washer dryer. The hot tub was great, just outside the lodge door, and was checked daily without disturbing us. The outside decking was well thought out with comfortable seating cushions stored in the lodge both in the shade and in the sun. I would recommend this lodge.
Incredible property in a fantastic setting, the local restaurant is brilliant also. Perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway My only downside, although a personal one, the double mattress was a bit soft for my aging back
The listing doesn't do it justice. It should also state that the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a utility room. The lodge was amazing and we really enjoyed and will definitely be coming back.
An amazing find and would definitely come back for future stays. Highly recommend
Fantastic so comfortable and welcoming home from home , we will be back.
We loved our stay, beautiful lodge in a beautiful location. Maintenance was fine too. Marked Facilities down slightly as, maybe due to being a new property, caught us out not having things like salt, cooking oil, kitchen roll, surface cleaner etc. It would have helped saying in the description that these things were NOT provided. Only two of us, but not enough crockery for 4 staying to be able to use dishwasher effectively. Small points really, it was a fabulous lodge to stay in, very comfortable. Thank you.
