Open the door to your new abode. The open-plan living space is bright, airy and inviting, with high vaulted ceilings and stylish furnishings.

The kitchen is equipped with the necessities, with a breakfast bar perfect for quick meals or a dining area set for four for wholesome family gatherings. Once dinner is over, head to the sitting room where you can unwind in front of the TV, enjoying the warmth from the electric fire during cooler months.

When bedtime arrives, two bedrooms await – a neat twin or a double with an en-suite shower room finished with fluffy towels and thoughtful spa touches, plus a TV for evening entertainment. A bathroom with a bath provides the perfect place to soak your muscles after outdoor adventures.

It was great to walk in and have that WOW factor, its a beautiful lodge in a beautiful space, well done, all i would say to others is make sure you have all your provisions before you get there as you wont want to leave again when you do get there

We had a wonderful stay at 6 Meadow Retreat. The lodge was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. It was such a peaceful place to unwind, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax. We couldnt have asked for a better getaway and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended!

Clean and tidy with only a few problems like ensuite floor not clean

We have stayed at the premises in Oct 2025 and again in May2026 . The cleanliness of the worktops and floor on our last visit was not as good this time. There were debris on the worktops and splash stains on the floor. It was still a nice stay but we felt it didnt have the wow factor.
Beautiful lodge, warm and cosy and staying on my own I felt very safe as Southern Halt is gated. Its a great location in Cornwall to visit the north or south coast, and Ill be back next year. Sally at Charteroak is the best, I didnt have an iron and one turned up 15 minutes after I emailed her to ask for one
We were very happy with the property but a couple of things were lacking. There was no hand soap provided for the main bathroom, only the ensuite and only 1 toilet roll per bathroom. In the kitchen there was only one chopping board which was wooden, it would be better to have a plastic one for cutting meat which can be washed in the dishwasher. It would also be helpful to have a full inventory so you know what is provided. Other than that we were so impressed with the property, the electric fire was perfect and the decor absolutely beautiful and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We had a lovely time the site was lovely clean and quiet the lodge was spotless clean everything we needed was there differently stay here again shops nearby looe close by turo Plymouth was a good shopping centre thank you for a lovely week
The lodge was lovely. Very comfortable from start to the end of our holiday. Well maintained, hot tub checked evey day. Very nice setting and friendly staff. The only downside it would be good to have a pubrestaurant on site, nothing really to walk too went to the Highway Man once, dreadful left after 10 minutes.
We loved our time at 6 Meadow Retreat, had everything we needed for a family of 4. Just wished we had booked longer. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again in the future!
Lovely lodge beautiful and peaceful surroundings
I received a phone call from a lovely lady to let me know our lodge was ready early at about 1pm, she was really friendly and made us feel really welcome and excited to check in. When we walked into our lodge we were completely stunned and blown away, it was brand new and everything was so modern and immaculate. The lodge was kitted out well and the hot tub was amazing. We got a little welcome box with washing up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea bags, coffee, sugar and lotus biscuits which was a nice touch. The only feedback wed give was to maybe add some salt & pepper sachets to the welcome box or add it as a reminder to the list of what we need to bring as we completely forgot this when we went grocery shopping on the way to lodge. We will definitely come back to this specific lodge and cant wait to rebook.
