7 Meadow Retreat Reviews

Claire
Lovely lodge that was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable which is always a bonus when on holiday. The hot tub was a great addition too. More utencils in the kitchen E.g. pizza cutter would be useful but other than that a great lodge.
Sylvia
The accomodation was great and we had a wonderful few days there. It was clean and had everything you needed. The retreat was so peaceful would definitely go there again we were sorry to leave. Would definitely recommend. The location was good as we were exploring different places in Cornwall that we wanted to visit.
This lodge was amazing we enjoyed every minute of being here, From the peace ... This lodge was amazing we enjoyed every minute of being here, From the peace and quiet to the hot tub the lodge itself for comfort and luxury
The home is very comfortable with superb heating. However the windows need some adjusting as some have very big gaps on the openers when closed & there is a draft. 2 openers at front of property We were staying to attend a wedding and felt that a full length mirror is needed. Along with a mirror in the twin bedroom. Outside lighting could also do with improvement the steps are not lit at all and proved difficult in the darkness. However, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Charteroak site.
Very comfortable stay in meadow retreat. Property clean, tidy and well maintained. Good location for exploring Cornwall.

The property served all our needs, more wine glasses would be useful rather than the mismatched pair provided. Beds were very comfortable and the general furnishings were good. A small glitch on arrival with heating and hot water not working was quickly and efficiently resolved in less than one hour.
Andrew
Beautiful place to stay. The cabin had everything we required. Lots of communication before we arrived, so getting in to the grounds and the cabin was so easy. A little minus would be no weather protection over the hot tub when it rains!!! But didnt spoil our lovely break. Will definitely be visiting again.
Beautiful property. Well maintained. Plenty of amenities. Very quiet site which is what we wanted. Very smooth check in and out.
The most beautiful lodge, had everything we needed and more.
Elaine
Excellent property, very clean and well maintained with lots of extras. Location near lots of places to visit but very quiet. Grounds around the property kept in great condition. We had an issue with an internal lock and it was fixed same day. Regular contact from reception to support with any issues or questions. Appreciated the locked entrances and the regular security patrols. We couldn't fault it!

We think the accommodation was 1010. We had a lovely time. It was clean, peaceful and well looked after lodge. The onsite staff were friendly. This was our first time visiting and we would highly recommend to all our friends and family.
Lovely place to stay, and very helpful staff
Rachel
When we arrived it was a absolutely lovely place piece full relaxing. Inside you couldn't fault it all beds were maid everywhere was spotless. The only thing was we didn't have any tv it's wasn't working we did all use our phones to watch a film etc. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
We had a lovely week at 7 Meadow Retreat. The pictures don't do the lodge justice as it was better than we imagined it would be and the hot tub was bliss. The only thing I would change are the discoloured rusty patio chairs which let it down a bit. When we are next in the area we will definitely book again.

Everything was great and we loved our stay! We have one issue and this is the changing point for vehicles! Was a nightmere for us and we had to contact the company to get our money back, for the 5 days we stayed we managed only 8 minutes of charging and this was not good enough for us! We lost time and money going off to get car charged! Apart from this the stay was good, until you guys have sorted this we most likely will not be staying with you guys as last year we had a great place not far from you guys and they had everything great but we will be looking to book later the year and hope to see your improvement on this issue!
Excellent lodge. We couldnt think of anything to improve it!
A lovely stay. A well equipped and presented holiday home.I couldn't reach the glass cupboard however..whichever side of thwvwork surface I stood..but didn't spoil our stay.Hot tub wonderful. All in all a lovely break.thankyou..ps staff helpful...friendly and informative.
Claire
We had a lovely, peaceful, relaxing time at Southern Holt. The lodge was spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Chelsea
Loved everything about the lodge, was a perfect get away !
Had a lovely comfortable stay overall. Great lodge and great location. Hot tub was fab!
Very pleasant and comfortable stay in a very clean property. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Southern Halt, different properties each time and will not be our last.
Alison
Very pleasant and comfortable stay. The site was very quiet, just before August bank holiday. Do note that there are no facilities on site, restaurant, play park etc. We had no issue with this. The beds were very comfortable and it was great to escape to the hot tub after a days walking. Our hot tub was available on the day we arrived. All kitchen appliances worked as expected and it was really useful to have a washing machine to spin the costumes. Reception were fantastic help when we realised we were missing a clothes horse. Reception also call in advance to welcome you. The only let down was mould in the bathroom, the lodge is only a few years old. The toilet seats weren't fitted well and had come loose before our stay we forgot to mention this to reception and just made do! We really enjoyed our stay, it was a great location we had family in Liskeard and a very comfortable lodge.

Everything was wonderful! We had such a great time during our stay! This is the second time we stayed at 7 Meadows Retreat and we would definitely stay again
We enjoyed our stay in the modern, peacefull and very clean lodge. Very nice hot tub to dip in and relax. Strong internet connection all the time. Tv readily connected to netflix, youtube and prime movies is a bonus!!
This was a peaceful location and a well equipped lodge in a clean and tidy presentation. We very much enjoyed our stay. It would have been useful to have instructions for the washerdryer and how to get all the jets to work in the hot tub. A couple of the igniters dont work on the hob. Minor stuff though.
Absolutely beautiful property, the hot tub was clean and ready to use shorty after arriving
The property is of a very high standard, with a full and useful kitchen and good quality furnishings throughout. Our only moan is regarding the hot tub, we arrived on the Saturday after a 6 hour journey and was looking forward to a nice evening relaxing in the hot tub, however, we were told that it wasn't working and we were not to use it. I made our disappointment clear in an email. It was clear being the weekend that it was not going to get fixed until Monday. However, we later found out there was nothing wrong with it and apparently it just needed cleaning and as the hot tub people don't work weekends we would have to wait until Monday. That's 2 evenings out of 7 that we couldn't use it, I wondered if we was going to get some kind of refund! However, they did draft someone in on Sunday to clean it which obviously we were pleased with. All in all an excellent holiday lodge and location if peace and quiet is required 9.510.
Beautiful setting , very peaceful. Loved the hot tub, very clean, checked daily. Well equipped. Great base for exploring Cornwall .
Absolutely fantastic! Me and my partner went for a week and it was the most incredible get away, everything is as it looks, it was clean and very spacious! The hot tub was incredible and it was so peaceful. Its so close to all the main places in Cornwall the most was travelled was 40 mins to st Ives! Check in and out was extremely easy, no hassle at all! I will definitely recommend staying here and will 100 be returning!! Thank you for an incredible stay
