Burrow Cottage is a beautifully renovated, pet-friendly home. Formerly a fisherman's cottage, its original exposed stone walls and deep window reveals are now complimented by plush furnishings and a modern colour palette.
Three spacious bedrooms including a top floor master suite with sea views, offer ample room for six while the open plan living / dining and cooking space on the ground floor is where guests can relax, create and feast in complete comfort.
Characterised by a tangle of narrow cobbled streets, granite cottages and whitewashed stone, The Downalong forms the historic fisherman’s quarter of the town and lies just a short amble from its harbour and sea front. A truly magical spot on the Cornish coast, St Ives itself is peppered with art galleries and craft studios showcasing everything from hand blown glass to ceramics and paintings.
A host of fantastic restaurants invite you to indulge in freshly prepared local produce, and for non-beach days you’ll be able to wander the area’s attractive lanes (sporting names like Salubrious Place and Teetotal Street), to search out a beautifully crafted memento to take back home. The area's five wonderful beaches have golden sands, clear water and spectacular views across St Ives Bay so for families or friends in search of the ultimate beach holiday it simply doesn’t get better.
*Burrow Cottage sits above Little Burrows studio apartment.
The cottage has its own entrance on Burrow Road whereas the entrance to Little Burrows is on the opposite side of the building on Island Road. There are no interconnecting doors between the properties.
