The kitchen's patio doors open to invite the fresh Cornish breeze inside. When it's time to call it a night, enjoy the choice of a sumptuous king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, or a cosy twin, served by the family bathroom.

When the weather’s good, the peaceful enclosed garden is a wonderful space to spend time, with a large lawn and a patio with furniture. Fire up the BBQ, then tuck in as you admire the tranquil pastoral views.

Ponsanooth is perched on the banks of the River Kennal and contains a lovely nature reserve (1 mile) for walking the dog. In nearby Falmouth, wander around the shops and art galleries before choosing an eatery for a spot of lunch or dinner, with many restaurants serving locally caught seafood.

Afterwards you can take a stroll around Falmouth Harbour, one of the world's largest natural harbours, or enjoy a 20-minute stroll to the historic Pendennis Castle, a fantastic spot for savouring a Cornish ice cream while overlooking Falmouth Bay.

Foxglove Cottage At Gadles Farm Reviews

Caroline
Lovely well kept cottage in fantastic countryside. Enjoyed talking to the owner about his fantastic herd.
Margaret
Very helpful owner, lovely location with the cows (working girls) going past the back gate into the milking parlour. Occasional visit from the farm cat (very nervous). Very quiet and really enjoyed our stay, apart from the weather. It did not stop us from getting the park and ride into Truro and the train into Falmouth, all of which made the holiday enjoyable and saved a lot of hassle finding car parks.
Anna
We had a very pleasant stay. It was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Foxgloves was very well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine as well as lots of crockery suitable for different types of meals. It is a very good location for accessing all areas of Cornwall and we went out visiting various places that took less than 30 minutes to get to. We had an inspection from Reggie the cat on a few evenings and we think we passed! Wilbur said a brief hello on the first day.
Mick
Very comfortable, well equipped cottage- excellent location.
Jane
We really enjoyed our holiday at Foxglove Cottage. Lovely property with all that we needed. Very peaceful setting with great views over the surrounding countryside. Visits from Wilbur (dachshund) and Reggie (farm moggie) were a real bonus! We will definitely return.
Colin
We have never been based on a working farm before but found it very interesting particularly as Jonathan the farmer gave us lots of interesting information. The cottage was warm, comfy and cheerfully decorated. We didnâ??t use all the kitchen appliances but there was everything there. We would go back there.
Barry Donald
We looked for 2 points which were somewhere nearby to park our car and a place for the dog to run outside and this met both criteria very well. This cottage had everything you would want and more.
Kevin
A 3 night stay in a cosy cottage, well equipped and 2 bathrooms a bonus.
Kieran
This is a wonderful rental. Much bigger than it looks on the pictures. The garden is also great and again much bigger than on the pictures. We stay in lots of holiday rentals and would definetly recommend this to anyone wanting to see the far end of Cornwall. Spotlessly clean and the owners very friendly and left us milk and cookies.
Alicia
A really lovely cottage with beautiful views and a secure garden. Owner is the perfect host and was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking the SW Coast Path. We really enjoyed the Kern cheese and milk from the dairy in the village made from the milk from the dairy herd on the farm. A perfect holiday spot for families and couples alike. We will recommend it to our family and friends. Thank you.
Jill
This is a lovely cottage in a rural location on a working farm with Ayrshire cows. It is close to beaches, towns and shops so an ideal spot for families and couples alike. There were just the three of us so it was perfect for our needs, and would also suit a couple with two children. The cottage is tucked away and therefore peaceful. Be prepared for narrow Cornish lanes!
Sylvia
Lovely rural position with a good sized garden with country views but even though enclosed is by no means secure for dogs. Cottage was fantastic with nice open plan living area with good amenities and good sized bedrooms and great bathrooms with powerful showers.
Imogen
We had a wonderful weekend at Foxglove Cottage. The cottage was clean and beautifully presented, with plenty of room for our young family. The added bonus of the large garden was great! It was such a quiet relaxing property, we will definitely be back!! Highly recommend and the owners were extremely helpful. A lovely holiday cottage.
