Miners Reviews

Alexis Turner
We really enjoyed our stay at the Miners! The house’s unique layout, especially the steel spiral staircase, gives it a real character. Waking up to the stunning views from the top floor lounge was a highlight. It’s perfect for small groups, offering everything we needed in a peaceful village setting. Carharrack is super quiet, with just one shop, but it’s a great base for exploring the coast, St Ives, Penzance, or Lands End. We’d definitely come back!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay here! The place is super spacious and well kitted out. The upside-down design offers stunning countryside views from the open living space. Plus, being centrally located made it really easy to explore nearby attractions by car. Definitely recommend it!
Alex
Great place, stunning views, really enjoyed our stay here.
Emma
We stayed in this lovely house and really enjoyed our time. It’s quite spacious, though climbing up to the main living area is a bit of a workout - but totally worth it for the view from the top floor! The kitchen is well-equippedand the beds are super comfy. If you’re bringing dogs, just watch out for the outside access from the bottom patio door-it’s only from that room and can be tricky with drive gates closed. The location is handy, with a small shop nearby and quick drives to beaches and pubs. Overall, a good spot!
Alex
Spacious house with plenty of room for kids to play around.
Tom
Really enjoyed our stay! The flat was huge, well-keptand in a pretty good spot too.
Emma
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property in a stunning spot. The place was super well-equipped, making everything so easy for us. The owner, Dave, was really friendly and even came to help when we accidentally left some items behind - much appreciated! We stayed as a three-generation family with dogsand the house suited us all perfectly. The kids and dogs got used to the spiral staircase quickly, even if we were a bit nervous about it. The hot tub was a great bonus, especially since there wasn’t a garden. Thanks so much!
Alex
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely holiday home, especially the stunning views. The hot tub was a real highlight for all three generations that visited. The only tricky part was getting our two small dogs up and down the spiral stairs for toilet breaks, but if we’d left the pups at home, it would’ve been perfect. Definitely recommend!

We can't express how pleased we were with this property! It was large, spacious and really well equipped. We always feel a bit anxious about booking dog-friendly cottages, since some we've stayed in before have had less-than-pleasant odours, but this place was immaculately clean and odour free! The towels provided for the hot tub, as well as for the bath and shower, were a lovely touch. We had a fantastic stay.
Joe
Really lovely house! We were a bit torn on the location rating, leaning between four and five stars. Honestly, the fifth star would be for being a bit closer to the beach, but the pricing reflects that. Overall, it’s just great value for what you get.
Sam
This is an excellent property for a large family! It has everything you could possibly need right at hand. The beds are very cleanand they’re extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to family and friends. Can’t fault this property at all!
Diana
The house is absolutely lovely and very spacious! It’s perfect for exploring St Ives, the Eden Project, Portreathand plenty of other places. Just a heads up though, you will need to hop in the car to really see the coastline (the photo of the sea view in the gallery isn’t actually from the house). It’s so well equipped with nearly everything you could need. If the weather isn’t great, there’s a big selection of DVDs, gamesand books to keep you entertained. We really enjoyed our visit!
Lynne
The house was fabulous, really well equipped and very clean! The living area on the top floor, which you get to by a spiral stair, was a bit tricky for the older members of our family, but once we made it up there, the views are super and it’s a great open plan space.
Jacqui

This property is perfect for a big group! We really enjoyed the ample indoor space that made it easy for everyone to relax and hang out together. The layout is just right for gatheringsand we loved how there was plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped. Definitely a great choice for a fun getaway with friends or family. Would highly recommend it!

We stayed for a 70th birthday celebration, with ages ranging from 9 months to 70! It's such a fantastic house, really well maintained and well equipped. The owner was super helpful before our stay, providing all sorts of useful information. There were bath and pool towels ready, plus a washer and dryer, which made things so much easier with the little ones. We appreciated the good supply of essential items like toilet rolls and hand soap that made life easier right from the start. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would definitely recommend this house!
Louise
We had a lovely time at The Miners! Our holiday was really relaxing and comfortable, plus it was perfectly located for exploring nearby beaches and towns. We checked out the cinema in Truro and had a nice stroll around the town. There are plenty of safe walking tracks in the village too. Ohand all the local beaches were dog-friendly since we went in October. We would totally recommend this place!
Aimee
This house is just lovely, with everything you could possibly need and more! We had a really comfortable stay at Miners, which is perfectly located to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. The top floor is something really special, with far-reaching views for stunning sunrises and sunsets. This place truly has the wow factor! The hot tub is a lovely way to start or end your day. As suggested by the owners, The Unicorn On The Beach is a must-visit restaurant on a beautiful beach. Thanks for letting us stay!
