About Driftwood Cottage Mousehole

Driftwood Cottage is a light and airy house with two large bedrooms and family bathroom. It offers all the comforts of modern living but with the character of a quintessential Cornish cottage.

Tastefully decorated and furnished with all the amenities required by a busy family, with great thought given by the owners to ensure a comfortable stay is had by all. Quality bedding, bed linen and towels are provided along with a welcome tray.

Wander in at ground-floor level to find a large welcoming kitchen/diner, suitable for preparing family meals or whipping up a picnic to take to the beach. Comfortable lounge with smart TV and games suitable for all ages.

Upstairs is the master bedroom to the front with king size bed and sea views. At the rear is a double bedroom.

There is also a family bathroom. Driftwood Cottage is just a couple of minutes walk to the beach, harbour and one of the best restaurants around, The Old Coastguard, you can’t get much better than that!

With an enclosed garden you can also enjoy al fresco dining and watch the sunset whilst the kids safely play on the lawn. There is also a utility building that houses the washing machine and dryer as well as providing excellent storage for wetsuits, buckets and spades and essential beach games.

An enclosed garden and granite walls are just some of the characteristics that give Driftwood its charm, and it’s village setting, sea views and fabulous location, just moments from the harbour, beaches, village centre and fabulous eating places make it the place the choose for your holiday, whether that is with your family, partner or friends. Amazing little house beds are very comfortable and has everything you need just be aware the car park is now £10 for 24 hours not the £5 as people where saying thatâ??s down by the port the car park next to the pub is £12.50 for 24 hours apart from this the pubs are lovely and the food is amazing and with all the little shops and markets going on well worth it if you want a chilled day staying local

This is a lovely comfortable cottage in a great location. It is nicely furnished and very well equipped with all you need for a holiday. We loved the peaceful garden deck in the sunshine at the end of the day. The bed was lovely and comfortable and there was a nice selection of games, jigsaws and entertainment. Weâ??ve never rented a holiday cottage without parking before but found we were able to park close by for just £5 for 24hrs. There is a great places to eat or get takeaway within 2 minutes walk but still a very quiet and peaceful cottage.

Driftwood is a quaint small cottage right in the middle of Mousehole. We loved the little village, location and views. The cottage was great for the week we stayed, it was a good base for us to really explore west Cornwall. The downsides were no parking at the cottage, paid parking in a carpark a little walk away. The garden is small and overlooked by neighbours on both sides. Overall a nice little holiday cottage.

The cottage was ideally situated, being only a stoneâ??s throw from the harbour and having beautiful views from both the main bedroom and the lovely little garden. It was very comfortable and well equipped. The bus stop was only a minute away and the bus service was fantastic.

Excellent location, buses in the week every 15mins and half an hour weekend. People really friendly, especially the neighbours. Would recommend the Deli for breakfast and dinner ,also the Fisherman Arms in Newlyn and also the fish bar .
