Omega House Reviews

Shirley
We enjoyed our stay in Omega House. comfy beds, large kitchen/dining area and sitting room. the furniture was clumpy and dated, especially the 2 sofas in the sitting room, which were very uncomfortable. The stunning views from the House were wonderful but the main disadvantages were the extremely narrow approach along the road and the very steep driveway. Our average size car was unable to go up the drive so we had to leave in in the road and walk up. There is a handrail for the first part of the drive and then navigating the sharp bend is very difficult. At the top of the drive there are 2 flights of steps which lead to the back of the House where you enter via the backdoor. All our luggage had to be carried up we found this very arduous.

We had a brilliant stay at Omega house. Amazing views, and super convenient location for exploring, and accessing the ferries to Dartmouth. Good facilities in the property, and everything you would need in the kitchen. Nice to have information provided about local attractions. The property isnâ??t particularly modern, but the positives about the property (views, location, comfort) make it a great place to stay.
Rob
A fantastic location on the quiet side of the river. The best part of the holiday was the view from the living room and balcony, it was very relaxing to sit and watch the boats ebb and flow in and out of the river mouth. The pub on the hill serves great food, with great service. There's a lot more choice over the river and the ferry makes this trivial to visit in minutes. I'd encourage people to walk up the road leading to the property before deciding to drive up, since it's exceptionally tight. The property notes do make this clear, however I was still shocked how tight it gets.
Simon
Amazing views. Great location. Very difficult to get an SUV onto the drive or down the road. Worth the pain of that though.
Jean
Superb views. Comfortable double beds. Very convenient but quiet location. Good bus and train services so no need for a car.
Reine
A great stay in a wonderful house. The views are spectacular.
Graham
Great place, Inspite of the long walks to access if you have to leave the car in the quay parking lot. The interior is dated, faded furniture, clumpy chairs and tables. The kitchen is great. The view is magnificent and overcomes the walk, the oldness. Value for money, yes ! view vs facilities.
Barry
Fantastic property great location.
Alan
The View From the House is amazing easy bus routes and Steam Railway to Paignton. Ferry To Dartmouth is easy to get too
Steve
We had a wonderful week, very lucky with the weather. Enjoyed boat and ferry trips and the Steam Train. Walked back from Coleton-fishacre (beautiful National Trust property & gardens) along the SW Coast Path. Going over to Dartmouth on the ferry for breakfast was fun!
Katy
A charactful house with stunning views and super location for Kingswear and Dartmouth. The road on arrival is very narrow so check the measurements in the property info. However, we had a lovely week taking in the breathtaking views and ambling around beautiful Dartmouth and Kingswear, so would most certainly come back.
