This pretty 16th century stone cottage is situated in the idyllic hamlet of Baston, just 15-minute walk from Salcombe. Summer Cottage has been lovingly refurbished in recent years to create a stylish, characterful holiday home offering wonderful countryside views.

The cottage is ideal for a family looking to explore the South Hams, widely regarded to be one of the most beautiful parts of Devon. Step inside to find Summer Cottage’s cosy living area with delightful traditional features including supporting beams and oak flooring.

The calming, neutral décor will help you to relax into your holiday as you curl up in front the roaring wood-burning stove. The kitchen and dining area is spacious with plenty of room for the whole family to gather for meals.

The Watson range cooker will see you cooking up a storm. No need to worry about the dishes afterwards – just pop them in the dishwasher.

The ground floor shower room and WC is great for that little bit of extra space. On the first floor, the master bedroom is striking with exposed stone walls and its own en-suite.

The rest of the party can choose from equally charming bedrooms to snuggle up in with a double bedroom, a child’s twin bedroom and a fourth bedroom with children’s bunk beds. As well as the en-suite, there is also a family bathroom upstairs with a bath and shower overhead.

To the side of the cottage, there is a large terrace area with outdoor seating. Perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning as the sun comes up!
