The town is also home to the Shaldon Wildlife Trust, which is an excellent site to visit for wildlife lovers, as well as a few restaurants and pubs. Exeter is an easily accessible medieval city best known for its most renowned feature, Exeter Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece began in the 12th century.

Riverside Valley Park, a scenic green space ideal for a leisurely stroll, and Northernhay Gardens, a tranquil sanctuary in the centre of the city, are also located in the city. You can also enjoy a multitude of walking and cycling options in the neighbouring Dartmoor National Park.
