More than 25 years ago, the owners began restoring the land by reintroducing native grasses and wildflowers, creating a rich mosaic of meadows, orchards, wide hedgerows and dry stone walls that has slowly matured into a haven for wildlife.

Overlooking a hazel wood and apple orchard, and with the South West Coast Path just steps from the door, Hazel Copse offers a calm and deeply relaxing escape in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt corners of Dorset. From countryside to coast, the bustling seaside town of Weymouth, 6 miles away, is home to a gloriously golden beach dotted with colourful deckchairs and a stunning harbour.

Built by the Victorians to protect Portland Harbour, uncover hundreds of years of history at Nothe Fort, 7 miles away, and enjoy views towards the Isle of Portland and across Weymouth Bay. Everything is at your fingertips in the spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
