Situated in a charming part of a picturesque holiday park, this welcoming yurt makes a fantastic base for two guests keen to discover a magical corner of the Dorset countryside. Just a couples of miles from the spellbinding route of the Jurassic Coast, the property is ideally positioned for eager hikers, wildlife spotters and beach lovers exploring the region’s cheery resorts, historic sites and secluded beaches.
Heading west, the historic town of Lyme Regis is known for its long fossil-finding traditions (8.5 miles) and features a beautiful harbour and a range of attractions including Dinosaurland Fossil Museum, the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and The Town Mill. To the east, Bridport (6 miles) has some fantastic places to eat and drink and lies close to the stunning beach at West Bay.
Forde Abbey and Gardens, Coney’s Castle and the Symondsbury Estate are all within 6 miles. A couple of steps lead up into this cute, light and cheery yurt, with the main UPVC door taking you through to a bright, cosy and relaxing living area.
With a snug sofa the simple central lounge area is perfect for relaxing in at the end of an exhilarating day. To the side you will find ample storage space and a useful dressing table, as well as a small fridge and handy tea/coffee-making facilities.
Finally, at the centre of the yurt is a sumptuous king-size bed, promising a tranquil night’s sleep. Stepping outside, the delightful raised and decked area makes a charming space to settle back and take in the charming surroundings in after a great day out.
There’s plenty of garden furniture alongside a BBQ, firepit, kitchenette and a soothing hot tub for you to luxuriate in. Just a few metres away is the shared barn which features a private allocated shower room and a fully equipped shared kitchen with plenty of seating.
