Bryn Meilw

We had a fantastic half term break at Bryn Meiwl. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. We were 2 families with 3 young children and the space was perfect for us, one family upstairs and the other downstairs. The kids loved playing in the large garden and we enjoyed the beautiful views! We'd love to return in the summer to spend more time outside. We used the hot tub everyday sometimes multiple times ! So nice to sit and relax under the clear night sky. We enjoyed a few meals at the nearby Seashanty in Treaddur Bay and enjoyed coffee at the Stores, just a 5 minute drive. The kitchen was so well equipped so cooking was a pleasure there. We were there in February half term so the weather was pretty cold but the house was always just the right temperature, with the heating being on a set timer which was great! A brilliant week and sad to leave, would love to come again!

The place is amazing with amazing view. The house is so spacious and comfortable. There has been no problem of anything. The hot tub was very spacious. The host is so welcoming and very friendly. There are plenty of places nearby to explore. We truly loved our staycation. And we recommend highly to visit here. Thank you so much Steve for having us.

The house was spotless and well equipped. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is perfect. Lovely and quiet, but only a short drive to the local shops and restaurants. Communications from the hosts Steve & Caroline were friendly and very helpful. I would happily recommend to anyone thinking of booking.

The house has plenty of space for a large group. The facilities and appliances are excellent. The games room and hot tub are a real bonus too. The owners are really helpful and made sure the beds were arranged exactly as we needed. The views from the house are the sea and Snowdonia. We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Bryn Meilw and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Beautiful property, so peaceful and quite yet accessible to transport links, everything being just a short journey away. The only drawback in my view was that you couldn't walk anywhere without going on the main road although this didn't bother us one bit. The owners could not have been any more helpful. We would defiantly return.

This is a wonderful house. Its comfortable, close to a lovely beach has great views and the hot tub is welcome after a long day of walking and swimming. The owner goes to a lot of trouble making sure everything is perfect. it is only a ten minute drive to all the main supermarkets and Holyhead railway station. The RSPB nature reserve is just up the road. We had a great time and would book again.

We enjoyed our stay at Bryn Meilw. The house is well equipped with everything you need for your stay and spotlessly clean. The property has a gorgeous well maintained garden with views out to sea. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property and would like to return in the future.

We marked down a question mainly due to the comfort level of the mattresses, particularly in the main bedroom, and the creaking of the upstairs floorboards, which was noticeable when trying to sleep in the downstairs bedrooms.

We stayed here for Christmas. We had a fantastic stay. Steve the owner was lovely. Great communication with him and a lovely welcome basket. Everything was thought of at the cottage. Games room and hot tub were a brilliant addition. Would love to return in the summer to enjoy those views. Our only negative as a family was the wifi connection was poor. Only worked in the room the router was in.

What a fantastic property, right from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. The property is situated giving amazing views of the landscape right out to sea. We enjoyed quiet moments in the morning listening to the waves with a cup of coffee. The facilities are to a high standard with everything you need loved the aga! There are so many places to explore and walks to be had which everyone enjoyed especially our grandson. The owners provided some lovely welcome treats and are available at any time should you need them. We look forward to returning in the future !

We enjoyed a lovely family weeks holiday at Bryn Meilw. Steve, the owner, was very friendly. The cottage was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table in the games room. The cottage is in a beautiful location, close to a beach and a short car journey to major supermarkets. Would recommend Bryn Meilw without hesitation.

We had such a lovely week at Bryn Meilw for my birthday. The house was a real home from home and had pretty much everything you could need. Its a great size, especially if theres a few of you. The welcome basket on arrival was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. The house was spotless and so nicely decorated. The hot tub was a luxury we can now never go without! And the games room was a really nice added extra, especially for those rainy days. Steve was a pleasure to deal with beforehand, and lovely to chat with during our stay. Their 2 cats Tilly and Timmy also extended their welcome, and are without a doubt the friendliest cats you will ever come across. I was quite smitten, and sad to say goodbye! The views from the property are just perfect, watching the sunrise from the bedroom, and sunset from the patio. And if you are into astronomy, this is the perfect place. We spent a couple of clear nights stargazing, where even the Milky Way was visible. You are only a 510 minute walk to the nearest beach and 5 minute drive away from shops in either Trearddur Bay or Holyhead. We cant wait to come back when the weather is a bit warmer, so we can enjoy more time outside. If we could suggest a couple of extra cheeky luxuries, it would be towelling robes for getting in and out of the hot tub, as it was quite nippy at the end of September. And better WiFi, for watching films on rainy evenings. Apart from that, we loved our stay and thank you for having us!

Superb rental , great kitchen , comfy beds and good quality furnishings throughout , location perfect for coastal walks straight from the door , nearest beach 5 mins walk excellent for sea swimming definitely will return thanks SteveCaroline and of course Tilly.

We loved this cottage and will be returning next year. It was spotlessly clean and the location is wonderful, walking distance to a fabulous beach which has toilets and food available . we had a hog roast sandwich one day there The area is excellent for birdwatching with footpaths through heather moorland. The games room is well equipped and we enjoyed the hot tub every day. Because the owner lives nearby we were able to contact him when necessary. There was plenty of space for our bikes and cars. Its easy and quick to drive into Holyhead and access a large Tesco and Asda. We had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful stay at Bryn Meilw with four generations all enjoying quality time together. The property was exceptionally clean and well equipped and the games room and hot tub were very popular!! There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival and the owners, who live nearby, were only too happy to help if needed. The only very small issue was that the WiFi was slow for some member of the family, but that didnt bother me!! I would definitely stay here again if staying with family in Holyhead. Steve the owner nearby and very helpful and available when needed, lovely home, spacious and well supplied for all our needs. Very nice welcome food parcel. Beautiful views and outlook surrounding the house with great gardens. Made very welcome from Tilly the most friendly cat we have ever seen. Would definitely recommend this property if you want a rural holiday close to the sea .

We had a great week staying at Bryn Meilw. The location is stunning, with views from the cottage down to the coast and Treaddur Bay, and Eryri mountains on the horizon. The property is excellent and was spotless, with a well equipped kitchen, and bedrooms with flexible setup that accommodated our extended family group well. Would highly recommend staying here!

In a beautiful location with exceptional views. Owner very friendly and helpful sending information before we arrived and checking everything was okay while we were at the cottage. The cottage is very clean and very well laid out. The hottub and games room are both brilliant additions .

We all had a fabulous holiday. The house is fantastic the pictures really dont do it justice. It is so well equipped there is nothing else needed. The hot tub is an added bonus too. Steve was really nice and informative and we knew he was there for anything if need be. The house well it was very clean and comfortable. So lovely to have three bathrooms as there were three families staying so we all had our own. Nice crisp sheets fluffy towels and the welcome pack was so nice too. The games room went down a treat with everyone. We hope to go back and stay again in the future.

This is a lovely property with plenty of space for all the family or families! Lots of space to park if you have more than one car in your party. Kitchen is well equipped with and bathrooms are spacious. Hot tub and games room were well appreciated by our adults. Lots of outdoor space with lovely views. Our week was blessed with fine weather. Owners live just up the hill and are very friendly and helpful with a lovely welcome pack left for guests. Our shopping arrived before we did so Steve took it in and put the cold food away! Travel cot and high chair are provided if you have very young children. A lovely holiday home in a beautiful spot. We will be looking to return.

We have had a wonderful holiday at Bryn Meilw, It was so spacious and comfortable,we had a party of 7 of us and never felt crowded. Steve and Caroline were very thoughtful in there leaving a wellcome box and gave us some great recommendation for a very tasty take away.We stayed for 2 weeks and despite a few wet and windy days we found the games room most enjoyable.We hope to spend our next family reunion at this more than home from home..Thanks Steve and Caroline for making our stay special.

On arrival at Bryn Meilw we found the property to be even better than it looked on the website. Everything about it was amazing, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything we could have needed. Steve, the owner, was very warm and welcoming and told us he was available if we needed him for anything. We had a great week and would love to return.

The online photos don't do the property justice it is a fabulous cottage in a stunning location. We loved that there was access to the Coastal path across the road from the cottage so we didn't have to get in the car to go everywhere and there is a good choice of shops only 6 minutes away in Holyhead. The cottage was clean and well equipped for it's size. The hot tub and pool table were well used and appreciated especially as the weather wasn't the best. We will definitely recommend the property and would come back. Thanks x

The house is in a perfect location, and is equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. The smallest detail has been considered, and its obvious its cared for, rather than just a holiday let. Only 1 niggle was for more warmth in the Games Room, although we did have 4 seasons in 1 week weather wise! Thank you for our stay.we didnt want to leave! Well definitely be back.

Lovely cottage everything we needed in a great location

Bryn Meilw is situated is situated in a beautiful spot not too far from the coast line giving some lovely views looking over to mainland Wales. The property itself is absolutely amazing, providing very luxurious accommodation. It has all the amenities that you could possibly want including a hot tub and a games room featuring a pool table. The owners, Steve and Caroline were extremely helpful including contacting us before hand to check how we required the beds arranged. We will definitely be returning in the future.

What a fantastic location, property and host couldnt have asked for a more perfect place to stay and share with family over the festive period cant recommend this place and host enough book here if you can you wont be disappointed! !

This is a fantastic property. Extremely comfortable with a lot of thought from the owner. Bryn Meilw is very spacious and very well kept. Lovely facilities for a family we stayed as a group of 4 adults and 3 children with a great hot tub and games room as well as very well kept large outside areas for the children to play in or adults to admire the fantastic views all round. There is a wellequipped spacious kitchen with a brand new aga cooker which everyone enjoyed using. Steve the owner is on hand to answer any queries should they arise and provide excellent local information. This is a high quality excellent home.

This holiday cottage is fantastic. As good as the pictures are, the actual cottage is so much better. The owners have thought of everything, and everything is really top quality. The location is remote, so driving is essential, but the peace and the views are spectacular. I cant imagine anyone ever having any complaints about this cottage. Dont hesitate to book!
