Perfectly situated to borth beach a beautiful tidal flooding nature reserve ... Perfectly situated to borth beach a beautiful tidal flooding nature reserve perfect for hydro foils or kite surfing and only 5 miles away from Aberystwyth so having food delivered is still possible
Loved it. A beautiful place to totally unwind. Don't think about itjust book it. Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely property, we had it at a very short notice so Rhian rung us and let us know she was giving it a clean. When we asked for logs she wasnt available so told us where to get some. Lovely overall the hot tub was lovely and warm everything was clean and tidy. The little cat that kept coming in made our break away

Weve just returned from a wonderful 4night stay at this beautiful former woolshed and couldnt have asked for a more relaxing break. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed the thoughtful welcome basket was such a lovely touch and made us feel right at home. The accommodation itself was spotless, cosy, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was an absolute highlight perfect for unwinding after our long walks in the countryside. Overall, it was the ideal place to switch off, relax, and enjoy some time away. Wed happily recommend it and would love to return in the future.
We had a lovely peaceful stay. Thank you.
Property owner was lovely. She went out of her way to accommodate. Cottage was well equipped and really cosy. Such a relaxed feel. Great location to see the areas around. Borth village and beach were 10 minute drive away. Aberystwyth was 8 miles away. So nice to be able to park right outside the property. Would recommend staying here.

This was a fantastic location with great facilities. We loved our stay, which was so comfortable and felt so relaxed whilst staying. This was a perfect getaway location, so close to the beach and only a 20 minute drive from Aberystwyth, and was a fantastic choice for a holiday location.

Beautiful property, clean, well maintained, well layed out, bright and airy. Very private and quite. There was no noice transfer between the 2 holiday lets. Everything you needed was there and the hot tub was lovely in the evenings. Each property was separately enclosed area so the dog couldn't wander off. Lots of quality local pubs for lunch and dinner available close by, I highly recomend The Black Lion in Derwenlas Machynlleth, fab food and service. The local dog friendly beach at Ynyslas was amazing, spent hours down there with the dog chasing his ball. We had lovely walks by the river into Borth for afternoon coffee. Overall we had a fantastic week at the property, very relaxing. We will definitely be back again. The welcome gift was very appreciated as were the free range eggs available for sale.

Lovely place to stay.
Perfect accommodation, exactly as described. We were 2 adults, teenager and dogs. Plenty of dishes and utensils, beds were really comfy. Towels were provided which was fantastic. Take beach towels if youre thinking of a dip in the clear Borth sea. Amazing beach and dogs allowed all year down the Ynyslas end. Great location, take the walk along the river into Borth, its beautiful and takes about 20 mins. The road walk is quicker but hairy at times. If youre looking to explore north Ceredigion, south Gwynedd, Cambrian mountains its a good base. Owner was lovely, Diolch!
The lodge was beautiful and very clean Had all the facilities you need and I loved the hot tub! ! My father had a relaxing time which he needed due to ill health and so the tranquil surroundings and lovely open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area helped him chill out whilst I cooked his fav food in a well equipped kitchen. The open plan area meant I was able to still chat to him so definitely was the prefect place for us. The hostess was so friendly but NOT in your face! they leave you alone unless you ask for something. The fresh eggs they sell are yummmmmy! 100 would go again. Fabulous! thanks again for everything! you have a beautiful place xxx

Moana was a perfect retreat and allowed for total relaxation to get away from it all. The property is very nicely decorated, comfortable and well maintained. The location is discreet and private and offers a lovely leisurely walk along a riverside into the town of Borth. Many attractions and activities within easy reach, makes this a perfect location a wonderful destination for couples and families, including our furry friend.
Lovely property with good quality interior and great hot tub. All the kitchen stuff that you need to cook for familyfriends was available and I felt confident that if we needed anything else, they would have been happy to help.
Eunice
A lovely property to unwind in and to explore from. Would definitely go back.

Nice touch of welcoming basket. Curtain rail too big for curtain holes hence v difficult to draw them shut. Toilet door creaks when closing annoying at night. Needs oiling. Towels rough. Had to return home early due to illness. Nice lady. Quality furnishings.
Robert
Thank you for a lovely stay. Beautiful area with lots of walks.
Home from home . For our weeks stay it had everything we needed, even fresh eggs on site . The welcome pack with local bacon , milk and soo much more was amazing. The hot tub was enjoyed by all even our 1 12 yr old grandson , who loved to run on the veranda every morning

Location is amazing, just a short walk to Borth. The property is nice and peaceful and we came home feeling very relaxed. The hot tub was great and beds were very comfy. I would definitely recommend the property and borth for a visit to people. Although the owners live on the property they left you too it but were there if needed which made it feel very private. My negative about it all is the cleanliness. I would say its surface clean however under the sink in the bathroom left over toothpaste gunk from previous stays and around the toilet basin were hair and dust. Walls were dusty and cobwebs about and dead flys in skirting board. I didnt complain as I was happy to clean myself as I am a bit obsessive with cleaning however its the attention to detail and personally I expect this to be basic in my eyes but also can see others may not mind.

Nice cottage surrounded by nice scenenery. Hot tub was fab, facilities were good. Shame Borth is not dog friendly, but Aberystwth not far and that is lovely.
Lovely cabin with great access to walks for the dog. Ideally placed for the beach and mountains. Just a few observations. There could be more cooking items ie measuring bowls, smaller baking dishes and more than 1 teaspoon.
Great location. Lovely place for a week away.
Lovely house really comfortable. Lovely friendly owner. Will definitely return
Trudie
Great location to venture out from. Lovely accommodation. On quite a busy road with no footpaths so a bit difficult to take the dog for night timebefore bed quick walk. Getting into Borth on foot is on that road or through the caravan site next door to an off road route torch essential and provided both routes take about 20 minutes. Property owner really friendly and helpful.
Patricia
Well equipped cottage would recommend it to friends and family.
Lesley
We had a lovely week here in early January. Comfortable and well laid out I have only marked it down a little as there were a couple of maintenance issues which could do with addressing.
We loved staying at Moana. Couldnt fault anything.
Beautiful holiday let, perfect location for everything. And the owner was very welcoming.

Everything you need and more to have an enjoyable stay on the Cambrian coast . Thank you Heath and Rhian
What I am going to say is already known by the owner because they LIVE there. I was upset to realise that the entrance to the property is a steep short descent and a quick left turn descending further to the flat parking area. The reverse to leave the property is a very difficult assent of the second slope to the main road where you have to push yourself out to see the traffic. I was too nervous to do it and my husband drove every day which isn't our normal pattern. Fore warned is fore armed. From the picture you have on your website, there is nothing that indicates the approach! Your lack of info re the approach was not right. The second problem was that the lock on the door of the property didn't work. My husband is a practical man and usually nothing phases him however most days we tried to secure the property and our belongings, it took him upwards of 12 to 20 times to lock up. On the Saturday night the lady renting the other property said she would keep an eye out for us and that she had problems as well.. I got to the point of carrying my jewellery roll with me whenever we went out. The owner knew the doors were tricky to lock and we left a note to the owner when we left of a national company who would could fix the problem. Finally I don't usually complete these feedback forms of yours because there is NEVER any response from you and I'm seriously thinking which company we use for our future holidays..

Lovely home from home, very comfortable, private and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.
The property was lovely, nice and spacious and well equipped. Cleanliness was 100 and the hosts were very very helpful. The hot tub was amazing! also the local cats were very friendly. It's ideally situated just outside Borth, so close to amenities and local shops etc. We have already recommended this property to family members, so hopefully they will be staying there too.
A great place with comfort a priority. Friendly people, friendly cats and a short trip to the beach in Borth. Ideally located in our view, many places to visit and all amenities close by, including superstore in Aber just 10 minutes away. Decent smart TV so you can watch your amazonnetflix content and a great hot tub to wind down in after long walks in the hillls. Comfy sofas and comfy beds. Ticks pretty much all boxes. Just 2 recommendations for improvement Warn guests that when arriving fully laded, keep to the left of the slope when turning in and down to the cottage. Also curtains in the bedrooms. Just need something else like in the lounge to compliment the blinds. We like our rooms dark.
Lovely property. Very clean and well equipped. Loved the hot tub, which really helped with my pain. Would love to go again.
Fantastic stay owner couldn't be more helpful not that we needed any. Welcome pack milk ect was great. lovely and clean and well stocked with everything you need hottub was lovely especially after a long winter walk
Andrew
Great place to stay, very clean and comfy with a nice walk to beach along footpath. A great base to explore mid Wales.

Our stay at Y Felin Moana was lovely gorgeous property very clean and modern. Owners were very helpful during our stay. Hot tub was brilliant . Would stay there again
Delyth
Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area of Wales. Only criticism is that internet was poor.
We had a lovely break at this place but PERSONALLY we like to be able to control the temperature of the tap water ,shower and the heated towel rail more. The towels were never completely dry even after 24hrs .
Malcolm
Overall a good stay. Hot tub was great. Information folder was very spartan & could do with some expansion regarding appliances, recycling, etc.
