This traditional Welsh stone cottage in Llangynidr village is brimming with character in the way of flagstone flooring and beamed ceilings. It also has a quaint little lawned garden where your group of four loved ones can enjoy dining alfresco and reflecting on the day’s events.

A delightful lounge welcomes you into this charming property. Fire up the warming wood burner, set in a traditional inglenook fireplace, and get cosy on the sofas.

Through the lounge is a delightful kitchen which has a beamed ceiling and everything you need to rustle up tasty meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pop a bottle of wine in the cooler on arrival so you can treat yourself to a nice fresh glass in the evenings.

A handy utility room containing laundry facilities and a WC completes the ground floor. Alight the stairs through the kitchen and find two well-appointed bedrooms, a double with stone walls, and a twin bedroom with exposed beams.

A family bathroom with shower over the bath is also situated up here. At the rear of the cottage is a walled garden which has patio, lawn space, and a pretty summerhouse.

This charming little village has a couple of lovely pubs and a handy shop. Talybont Reservoir is 7 miles away where you can find lovely waterside walks and superb scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

If you fancy taking to the water, visit Llangorse Lake (6.5 miles) where you can kayak or sail. Take a challenging climb up Tor y Foel (5.5 miles) or visit the picturesque town of Crickhowell (5 miles).
