This traditional Welsh stone cottage in Llangynidr village is brimming with character in the way of flagstone flooring and beamed ceilings. A handy utility room containing laundry facilities and a WC completes the ground floor. Alight the stairs through the kitchen and find two well-appointed bedrooms, a double with stone walls, and a twin bedroom with exposed beams.

A family bathroom with shower over the bath is also situated up here. At the rear of the cottage is a walled garden which has patio, lawn space, and a pretty summerhouse.

This charming little village has a couple of lovely pubs and a handy shop. Talybont Reservoir is 7 miles away where you can find lovely waterside walks and superb scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

If you fancy taking to the water, visit Llangorse Lake (6.5 miles) where you can kayak or sail. Take a challenging climb up Tor y Foel (5.5 miles) or visit the picturesque town of Crickhowell (5 miles).
