About Danycrug Farmhouse

Sleeping four guests across three spacious bedrooms, it’s ideal for couples, friends or a small family, with your pet welcome to join in the fun.

You’ll be just 2.5 miles from the bustling market town of Brecon, which has a modern theatre, a pretty canal, independent shops and plenty of spots to eat. Step outside and you’ll find walking trails and pony trekking right on your doorstep, and scenic golf at the beautifully kept 18-hole parkland course at Cradoc Golf Club (0.5 miles).

If you're up for more adventure, Lake Llangorse (9 miles) offers everything from canoeing and fishing to waterskiing and wakeboarding – perfect for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. On arrival, kick off your shoes in the traditional arched porch, then make yourself at home in the inviting open-plan living and dining area, complete with a cosy wood burner – lovely for those chillier evenings.

Sit down to daily meals and celebrations at the dining table. The well-equipped and generously sized kitchen, with a charming breakfast bar, leads through to a handy utility room.

Here you can clean muddy boots and brush off the dog’s coat after a countryside walk. Upstairs, are three comfortable bedrooms: two doubles and a single.

The family bathroom includes a shower over the bath, WC and heated towel rail for added comfort. In good weather, you’ll love relaxing in the outside area, accessible via the utility room.

You’ll have a furnished patio for al fresco dining, plus a raised lawn area reached via five steps. There’s also parking for two cars.

Cantref Adventure Farm - LD3 8LR

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.
Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available. 
Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.  Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.
Dinefwr Park and Castle - SA19 6RT

Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.
