For watersport enthusiasts, the market town of Bala (13mi) is well worth the visit.

Wales' biggest lake, Llyn Tegid, is placed at its centre and great for fishing, canoeing, kayaking or sailing and the fast-flowing waters at the National White Water Centre provide the ideal conditions for rafting. For an exciting adventure, take a trip to Blaenau Ffestiniog (30mi) and discover the numerous local activities such as Ffestiniog Railway and Zip World Slate Caverns.
