Norchard Farm House Reviews

Jenifer
Stayed here from 6th to 9th February for my 40th birthday girls weekend. Upon first impressions it was a lovely place. However the house was rather unkempt and dirty in some places. The shower on the top floor was cold. The bath on the middle floor only allowed a trickle of water out and was unusable. The shower on the ground floor was okay, warm but not hot and not very powerful. The agar although unused was extremely dirty. We had problems with the hot tub letting moss in through the lid and making the water merkey. I had a bleach stained towel as a guest towel. We did manage to get in touch with the host who was away and sent another lady over to assist with the hot tub issues, when we have stayed in places before there is usually a daily check of the hot tub to check levels of alkalie etc. Some of the house was lovely but other parts very dirty and in need of repair. For the 1200 for the 3 nights I felt this was way overpriced and the house needs some TLC and general maintenance
We had a great time at the houseprobably booking for next yearsuited us,warm comfortable and spacious10 adults 4 kids 1 dog. Not what you would call immaculate but who wants that with kids and a dog running around.Very quiet location but handy for local attractions and beaches.

Lovely weeked with our family of 12, kitchen definitely needs updating, feature cooker wasn't working which wasn't an issue but it was very dirty, if kept as a feature it should be clean. Hot tub was fab but would benefit from some sort of gazebo cover overhead as it rained quite a lot whilst we were there. Garden needs attending. Log fire in lounge was shocking, glass was falling out & flue had big splits which I'm sure would not be safe to use. Radiator in living room not working but a few electric heaters were available, rubbish left behind sofas, comfortable large sofa. Games room for darts & pool was fab. All bedrooms were fab & very comfortable. Dishes were left in the dishwasher when we arrived & they were dirty, cleanliness needs to be better throughout. We all had a great weekend but these issues need addressing.
A beautiful property. We can't wait to come back and can't recommend the place enough. Thank you so much.

We had a lovely trip, great location and a beautiful house, the beds were extremely comfortable. Made a lot of use of the games room and hot tub and managed to keep 15 people happy for 3 days! However, catering for that amount was a slight issue as one of the ovens didnt work. Also, the downstairs shower had no hot water and neither did the upstairs sink. There are also only 7 chairs and a table for that amount so it was a challenge to all eat together, coupled with a lack of kitchenware. Despite this, the owner was helpful at sorting it. We were brought 2 BBQs to help out and were allowed to use the lovely showers on the campsite. Would definitely go back as overall was a fantastic stay

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
