1-Bedroom Cabin with Hot Tub in Newtown

Relax, unwind and recharge with a restful getaway in this high-quality lodge, perfect for one or two people – and dog-friendly, too. Set in a boutique complex of just four properties on a working farm, it’s surrounded by delightful countryside, where you’ll sometimes see sheep, cows, goats, horses and even a peacock in the nearby fields.

Explore its lovely woodland, or enjoy a walk directly to Newtown, 2.5 miles away. Set on the upper reaches of the River Severn, this friendly town is home to a renowned modern art gallery, a theatre, a cinema, a variety of shops and a choice of places to eat and drink.

The shops, restaurants and ruined medieval castle of the historic market town of Montgomery are just 8 miles away. Outdoor adventurers are well served, with walking, cycling, climbing and fishing all available nearby.

When you’ve parked your car, follow the sound of the babbling brook, which you’ll cross via a small, stepped bridge – with romantic lighting after dark. Head along the path up the slope, and you’ll see the timber-framed cabin at the top, positioned to take advantage of the gorgeous views of the idyllic surrounding countryside.

Once inside, you’ll immediately appreciate the lodge’s stylish design and high-quality furnishings. The open-plan living space features a wooden floor with underfloor heating and painted, planked walls, with light flooding in via the bi-fold doors.

After energetic days out, you can sink into the soft sofa, enjoying the views or, when you’ve drawn the curtains, watch a show on the Smart TV. If staying in to eat, the well-planned kitchen area has everything you need to rustle up a delicious meal, perhaps using local produce picked up on your travels.
