Caban Nant Ddu is a stylish two-bedroom woodland lodge at Cae Llwyn in Nantmel, Powys. Set in the heart of rural Mid Wales near Rhayader, it offers genuine privacy, peaceful seclusion and contemporary comfort with large windows framing the surrounding countryside.

The area sits within a designated Dark Sky Reserve making stargazing genuinely spectacular. Red kites, reservoirs, open mountain landscapes and quiet country lanes are all part of daily life here.

The lodge sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

Bedroom 1 has a zip-and-link kingsize bed with en-suite shower room and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 has a kingsize 5ft bed served by a separate bathroom with bath and heated towel rail.

Open-plan living combines kitchen, dining and lounge with a Smart TV and electric fire.

Gigrin Farm red kite feeding (3 miles/8 mins), Elan Valley Visitor Centre (6 miles/12 mins), Llandrindod Wells (10 miles/20 mins) and Builth Wells (14 miles/25 mins) are all within easy reach.

By Train
