Lee Kendall, the Hospitality Manager, was really attentive and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. We had such a lovely weekend celebrating my dad's 70th. The house was spotlessly clean, which really mattered since I'm quite particular about cleanliness. There was plenty of space for everyoneand the hot tub was a hit! Dogs are welcome too, which was a bonus. Lee was fantastic-so friendly and helpful. Honestly, he made our stay extra special. We really enjoyed our stay and thought the house was fantastic. It's so well equipped and spotlessly clean when you arrive, thanks to housekeeping. Everyone loved the location, especially ending the day relaxing in the hot tub, which was a real highlight! The bathrooms were perfect, with ensuite rooms, large walk-in showersand separate baths. On our last night, we fired up the BBQ on the patio, taking in the lovely views of the gardens and beyond. It was a proper relaxing break, we'd definitely return!

This is a top-class venue with stunning scenery. All five bedrooms have walk-in showers in the bathrooms, plus the added bonus of a bath in each room! The beds are high-class and really comfortable. The hot tub was just the right temperature. The local pub has an exceptional menu and a really friendly atmosphere. Beaches are within 50 miles, so it's perfect for a day trip. Powys Castle is definitely worth a visit too. Everything is accessible from this lovely cottage in a glorious setting. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay with friends and family. We'd absolutely recommend this holiday venue.

What a beautiful house! It was so warm and clean with lovely, comfortable beds and fabulous views from every window. The en suites are all a good sizeand having baths in each bedroom is such a welcoming, wonderful idea. We were a family of sevenand we would all really love to go back again.

This National Trust site is one of the finest in Wales. The stunning castle was once a medieval fortress and has been remodelled several times over the last 400 years. The Great Hall is home to some amazing collections of paintings as well as sculptures and tapestries. The gardens are world famous with stunning areas of French and Italian style as well as a gorgeous orangery. Children's activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and on special occasions such as Halloween and Christmas.

Shropshire Wildlife Trust - SY3 5FB

This is a fantastic attraction in the Shrewsbury area of Shropshire. Designed to provide children with a fun and educational experience the whole family can learn about wildlife here and the outdoors. There are 38 nature reserves in total and visitors are welcomed and encouraged to enjoy the area by taking part in walks, talks and regular events. Llangollen Boat Trips - LL20 8TA

Llangollen Wharf is one of the major attractions in North Wales and is an excellent place to spend the day as a family. The Wharf is situated in the peaceful market town of Llangollen - now part of a World Heritage Site. Horse Drawn Boat Trips are available along the feeder for the main canal and are a unique way to explore the area. Motorised Aqueduct Cruises are also on offer for those who prefer a slightly faster pace. Both trips allow visitors to take in all the magnificent sites of Llangollen Canal.
