Ty Fferm Hen is a 16th-century farmhouse set on a working 34-acre farm in Talybont-on-Usk, Powys. It sits inside the Brecon Beacons National Park and is part of an International Dark Sky Reserve. The views across the Sugar Loaf and the full Black Mountain range are genuinely spectacular. This is a private, detached property with real character.

Talybont-on-Usk is a proper Welsh village with a shop, café, bike hire and several pubs serving food. You can walk directly onto the Usk Valley Trail from the farm. Cycling the Monmouthshire Canal into Brecon is a popular route and the dark skies here make star gazing exceptional on clear nights.

Ty Fferm Hen is a 16th-century farmhouse set on a working 34-acre farm in Talybont-on-Usk, Powys. It sits inside the Brecon Beacons National Park and is part of an International Dark Sky Reserve.

Talybont-on-Usk is a proper Welsh village with a shop, café, bike hire and several pubs serving food. You can walk directly onto the Usk Valley Trail from the farm.

Cycling the Monmouthshire Canal into Brecon is a popular route and the dark skies here make star gazing exceptional on clear nights.

The farmhouse sleeps up to 4 guests. Upstairs there is one family bedroom with a 4ft 6in double bed and two 3ft singles.

The open-plan ground floor has a sofa bed for flexible sleeping. The family bathroom features a freestanding slipper bath with shower attachment.

Brecon town is around 5 miles away and offers the Royal Welsh Regimental Museum, Brecon Cathedral and various cafés.

The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal (0.5 miles) is perfect for walking and cycling. Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales, is around 8 miles away (20 minutes).

Abergavenny is approximately 14 miles (25 minutes).

Ty Fferm Hen suits couples and small families who want countryside walking, cycling and a private hot tub for four after a day outdoors. The enclosed garden has a BBQ and furniture.

Yes. The Coity Bach site has several properties and when booked together they can accommodate up to 18 guests. Other properties on site include Ty Nofio, Ty Bach Twt, Ty Olwyn Bach and Peacock Cottage.

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course.
