Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms, retreat to the peace and tranquillity of a life in the countryside at this delightful lodge. Close to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which lies 10 miles east of the property, and set amidst the open fields of the owner’s farm, it’s the ideal base for a relaxed get-together to see old friends and catch up with family. Spend quality time together, undisturbed by the hustle and bustle, and venture out only when you want to go shopping or have planned a fun day out. Otherwise, simply enjoy each other’s company in this remote and idyllic setting. In harmony with the landscape, the lodge is decorated in a natural colour scheme inspired by the surroundings and has retained wood-panelled walls throughout the interiors. There are also lots of windows, to allow plenty of natural light into the lodge, which lets you admire the sweeping views from all angles. Gather in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is the heart of the property and more than spacious enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. Step up to the decking area, then enter the lodge and take off shoes and coats in the entrance hall. If the weather is damp, or your clothes are in need of a refresh, put them in the utility room washing machine and change into comfy clothes for a cosy night in. After a tasty home-cooked meal, prepared in the elegant kitchen and eaten round the dining table, decide how you’d most like to unwind. Play games, host a family film night on the TV/DVD, or go for a dip in the hot tub. As it’s undercover, you can enjoy a blissful soak come rain or shine. When you’re ready for bed, choose one of the characterful bedrooms and snuggle down to sleep.

Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.

Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
