Norfolk is renowned for its big skies, beautiful coast, the Norfolk Broads, the medieval cathedral city of Norwich, and many stately homes and churches. Guests are welcome to walk through the woods of Northrepps Estate or venture further afield to the Norfolk Coast Path and The Paston Way.
For golfing enthusiasts, Royal Cromer Golf Club is 1 mile away. If it’s culture you’re after, the medieval city of Norwich and its magnificent cathedral, one of the largest in Europe, has many museums, independent shops, pubs and eateries.
The county’s great halls, Blickling Hall (10 miles), Felbrigg Hall (4 miles), and Holkham Hall (26 miles) are open to the public. The oldest footsteps in Europe were discovered on the coast in 2013 at Happisburgh, and the West Runton Woolly Mammoth, found in 1990, is the largest complete skeleton known.
This lovingly restored 18th-century former country house has everything you would need from a property. The porch leads into the hallway, where there’s an office room and a wet room where you can dry your dogs and hang your wetsuits.
The large dining room is a perfect place to have a meal in a more formal setting; the table seats up to sixteen guests. The large kitchen/breakfast room has an additional table for eight and a breakfast bar seating two.
Everything you’ll need is here, and there’s a utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. Move through to the sitting room, which has a wall-mounted Smart TV along with three sofas and armchairs providing enough seating for all guests.
