Sutton Lea Manor Reviews

Emma
We stayed here as a group and found it perfect for what we needed. The location’s greatand the house is well kitted out with comfy beds and decent bathrooms. Decor’s a bit worn, more practical than cosy, but ideal if you’re with dogs or friends. Would recommend!
Martin
Really enjoyed it, super relaxing and just what we needed! Thanks!
Emma

The house was perfect for our big family get-together, plenty of space and well stocked. The grandchildren loved the hot tuband the outdoor dining areas made everything so relaxed. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch!

Beautiful house, fantastic garden, perfect spot!
James
We loved how spacious this place was, fitting three families comfortably, from kids to seniors. Snettisham is super charming and there's lots to explore nearby. The house has loads of TVs, though we didn't need them much-just watched the European final! Great stay overall.
Sam
Really loved the place! Plenty of space for all of us, including the dogs. Perfect spot, well kitted outand super convenient location. Would definitely return!
James
We stayed at this lovely house and found it surprisingly spacious inside. One thing to note is that two of the bedrooms are connected, with access only through one another, but it suited our family perfectly. The outdoor area is quite nice, even with part of the garden taken up by a neighbour’s barn conversion. We happily set up a badminton net and swing-balland the Jacuzzi plus big BBQ were real highlights. There was some ongoing work in the barn, but it didn't cause us any bother at all. Definitely a good stay!

Emma
We stayed at Sutton Lea Manor for a family and friends gathering to celebrate my 50th. The house was spot on-plenty of room for everyone to hang out or have some quiet time. It felt really luxurious but still practical. The village is lovely, just a short walk awayand we loved popping into the Rose and Crown for drinks and tasty food. We also enjoyed a pamper session at Shoreline Therapies, which I’d definitely recommend. A really great stay overall!
Emma
We recently organised a family gathering to mark a milestone birthdayand this house was just perfect. It’s incredibly spacious, definitely the best holiday home we’ve stayed in so far. Everything we needed was there, including two fridges and dishwashers, which was really handy. The welcome pack was a lovely touchand we loved the hot tub - used it every day, even in February! Highly recommend this place, we had a fantastic time.
Sarah
Great weekend spot, super comfy and has everything you could need!
Rachel
We had a really lovely week overall! The house was spacious enough for everyone and worked perfectly for our big family with a dog. It’s positioned just on the outskirts of the village, which has a cozy coffee shop and a handy little shop nearby. The carpets looked a bit worn, but that’s understandable with a lively bunch like us. Definitely a great spot for a mixed-age group!
Emma
We recently stayed for a long weekend to kick off the festive season with familyand it was fantastic! The house was really spacious, perfect for our group of 14 adults and a baby, giving us plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, with all the essentials like tea, milkand cleaning supplies. The hot tub and heated towel unit were great after a swim. The kitchen had everything we neededand the Christmas trees added a nice festive vibe. Justin, the caretaker, was friendly and helpful throughout. We’d definitely come back!

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 16 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 19 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 21 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 27 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 28 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 28 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
