Start the day with breakfast together in the spacious and well-appointed kitchen/diner; there’s also a laundry room on the ground floor with room to store bikes. Up the wooden staircase are the two bedrooms: a classically stylish double room with wooden features for a good night’s sleep, and a twin room with elegant wrought iron beds.

Both bedrooms use the hanging space on the landing and the stylish family bathroom. Grab some drinks, light the BBQ, and enjoy the light summer evenings in the garden accessed down a path, with a large lawn, lots of seating space and gorgeous country views.

Get out into the countryside on foot or by bike and head to the coast (4 miles) to pick up the coastal path or spend the day on one of the stunning sandy beaches. Head to Blakeney (7.5 miles) and book a boat trip to Blakeney Point to see the grey seal colony and do some crabbing on the quay.

Spend the day in Cromer (6.5 miles) on the beach and visiting the pier. Play golf at the Royal Cromer Golf Club (7.5 miles), explore the shops and art galleries in Holt (4 miles) and call in at the village pub on your way home.
