We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we needed, perfect for two families. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially with the chilly Scottish summer. Nearby at the farm, the scones and coffee are a mustand the full English breakfast is fab. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The cottage was spacious enough for everyone in our big groupand the hot tub was definitely a highlight. The nearby cafe served lovely coffeeand the animals were adorable-kids loved them! If we’re being picky, a touch more luxury wouldn’t hurt, but overall, a lovely experience. Thanks!

We had a fantastic weekend and were really impressed by how spacious the cottage is. The open plan kitchen was lovelyand all the nice wee touches like the butter, milk, cookies, tablet and toilet roll were super appreciated! We will definitely be back at some point in the future.

We had a really super long weekend break at Glenisla Escape. Our 3 generation party group had a blast! My elderly Mum absolutely adored the countryside, the visits from friendly chicksand the fab Peel Farm coffee shop and gift shop. The ‘youngsters’ dashed off to the loch side beach with their picnics, loving the farm trail and making friends with all the animals. We middlies relaxed in the Jacuzzi and just enjoyed the peace. Dining al fresco, we were entertained by the show of house martins - pure bliss!
Lisa
We had a lovely time! The cottage easily accommodated 9 of us plus our dog and was really comfortable and well-equipped. Claire was super helpful, even going out of her way to provide directions when my SatNav took me to the wrong place. We would definitely recommend it.
Susan
We would definitely recommend this property! It's light and spacious, well-equippedand at this time of the year, the farm animals and birds were just adorable! There’s plenty to explore around the farm, plus loads of good walks and restaurants within a short drive, with some even close enough to walk to. Help is always on hand if anything is neededand we’re already thinking about rebooking!
Sara
We had a really lovely stay! The place itself was just fantastic, super cleanand felt really luxurious. It was a bit of a trek to the nearest supermarket and pub, but the farm shop and cafe were superband it was lovely to be so close to them. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of walks to explore. Would definitely come and stay again!
Emily
This place is just incredible! If you want a tranquil and gorgeous spot to stay, then this is it! The cottage has everything you might need for a perfect break. The farm cafe is tremendous, with delightful home baking served by a really friendly team. We would absolutely recommend Glenisla Escape to anyone and will definitely return, thank you!

Emily
We had a lovely stay in the accommodation! Everything was clean and comfortable, which made for a really relaxing experience. The location is fantastic as well, being close to shops and cafes. We would definitely recommend it to others and would love to return soon. Just a minor thing, the wifi could be a bit faster but overall, we were really happy!

Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 10 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 16 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary - IP28 6HX
about 21 Miles
This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 28 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
