This charming glamping retreat makes a wonderfully relaxing bolthole for couples seeking a quiet holiday break in beautiful natural surroundings. The cabin sits on a charming site in the picturesque Cambridgeshire village of Brinkley, providing an ideal location for boating and badminton.
Heading west, the historic city of Cambridge (15 miles) is home to the famous university, with popular sites including the River Cam, King's College Chapel, the Fitzwilliam Museum and the Mathematical Bridge. To the north, the cheerful town of Newmarket is home to a lively racecourse (6 miles).
Heading east, Bury St Edmunds (20 miles) has a range of great places to eat and drink, with attractions including Moyse's Hall Museum and The Hunter Gallery. Just north of Bury you can visit West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village, Fullers Mill Garden and Lackford Lakes (17.5 miles).
Other local landmarks including Bottishall Airfield Museum, Anglesey Abbey and Audley End, all within 18 miles. A wooden and accessible path meanders through the meadow and woodlands, past the lake and towards this characterful single-level cabin.
Once inside, you will be greeted by the fresh and airy lounge with a Smart TV, comfortable seating and beams set in the high vaulted ceiling. The cabin also features a sweet kitchenette with plenty of equipment for preparing a romantic meal for two.
When it's time to turn in for the night, the cosy bedroom has a lovely double bed. Stepping outside, a sweet veranda has ample seating, offering a wonderful spot for you both to sit back, dine alfresco and take in the marvellously tranquil surroundings.
A step down leads you to an adjoining space where you can luxuriate in the private hot tub. From the cabin, a path heads over to the shower block which features a private shower room for each cabin onsite.
