Owl Cottage is a hidden gem nestled in the rural village of Kettleburgh, perfect for a peaceful holiday or short break, with the market town of Framlingham less than four miles away and the Heritage Coast only 30 minutes drive. Set in a sunny woodland spot with outside patio for alfresco dining or morning coffee, with only the bird song to disturb you.

Nestled in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, Owl Cottage offers a peaceful escape surrounded by enchanting woodland views. This charming ground-floor property is thoughtfully designed for comfort, relaxation, and convenience.

Step into the welcoming sitting room, where hard flooring flows throughout the home. The sitting area invites you to unwind with idyllic views from every window, a two-seater sofa and armchair, and a TV with terrestrial channels for entertainment.

A wooden dining table sits neatly in the corner, perfect for enjoying meals or morning coffee, while a corner desk provides a quiet space to work if needed. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, including an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge with icebox freezer, kettle, toaster, and a Nespresso coffee machine.

A washing machine is also available for added convenience. The master bedroom features a sumptuous king-size bed positioned to take full advantage of the woodland views.

Bedside tables, a chest of drawers, and a wardrobe offer ample storage. The second bedroom is ideal for an adult or child, furnished with a full-size single bed, chest of drawers and chair.

The spacious bathroom includes a walk-in shower, wash basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Owl Cottage is nestled in natural surroundings, offering a peaceful outdoor space complete with a table and three chairs.

There is a hot tub available for guests to use. Please note the garden is not enclosed.

Suffolk Owl Sanctuary - IP28 6HX

This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.

This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF

Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.

Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
