This single-storey log cabin is nestled in a 130 acre site, formally an 18 hole golf course, being reclaimed by nature through a variety of significant ecological regeneration and restoration projects and returning elements to its farming roots. Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, it’s the perfect base for families or groups of friends seeking relaxation and days of adventure across the local landscape.
Beyond the on-site woodlands, meadows and waterways, and the excellent experiences – including holistic treatments, stargazing sessions and nature photography walks – rural and coastal Suffolk awaits exploration. The picture-postcard village of Cretingham lies close by, as do the charming towns of Framlingham and Woodbridge (all within 10 miles).
Adults and children alike will enjoy uncovering Suffolk’s history with visits to Framlingham Castle and the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo (both within 11.5 miles). Days beside the sea are also easily enjoyed, with Suffolk’s sandy coastline just a short drive away.
Popular seaside spots include colourful Aldeburgh, the waterside village of Thorpeness, and Sizewell (all within 20 miles). Before stepping inside this beautiful log cabin, take a moment to admire its wood-clad exterior and the surrounding natural scenery that sets the tone for a peaceful, nature-immersed stay.
Head inside, and experience the biophilic design, and venture deeper to find light-filled accommodation that blends rural charm with modern comforts. Rustic lodge features blend seamlessly with modern comforts, and each room is filled with natural light.
The open-plan living space forms the social heart of the property, bringing together a sleek kitchen, a traditional dining area and a welcoming lounge. After days of adventure, unwind in the lounge; sink into the leather sofa, flick on the Smart TV and start planning tomorrow’s itinerary.
