Shepherds Knapp Lodge is a detached ground-floor lodge set in the Devon countryside, just 2 miles from Axminster. Sitting in the heart of River Cottage country, it sleeps four guests and has earned Customers' Choice awards in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The private hot tub on the enclosed patio is a real highlight.

The setting is genuinely rural yet practical. Lyme Regis is 10 minutes by car.

West Bay famous as the filming location for Broadchurch is within 20 minutes. The beach is under 5 miles away.

Inside, the lodge is all on one level with open-plan living, kitchen and dining space. There's a large corner sofa, 43" Freeview TV, PlayStation 3 and a pine dining table.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Bedroom one is a double (4ft 6in) and bedroom two has two single beds.

The shower room has a corner cubicle.

River Cottage Kitchen in Axminster (2 miles), Lyme Regis beach (4¾ miles), West Bay harbour (under 20 mins) and Exeter city centre (further afield) are the top days out nearby.
