Perfectly located near the Peak District National Park, this is the ideal rural retreat for families, friends or couples looking to explore the wonders of the countryside. Make yourself at home as you step inside your new countryside retreat, The Cottage.

You’ll be welcomed by a traditional farmhouse kitchen/diner, the perfect spot to whip up a homemade feast to enjoy with loved ones. Then, settle down in the inviting sitting room with a woodburning stove and Smart TV taking centre stage.

Outside, make the most of the private patio to admire the views of the countryside and take in the fresh air with your morning coffee or dinner alfresco. When you’re ready to turn in, three bedrooms with feature fireplaces await, including a super-king-size to sink into, one king-size and one twin room for more flexibility for your party.

Both bathrooms are sleek and neutral, one providing you with a bath to soak in, and the other with a walk-in shower, for freshening up quickly before heading out to explore. The Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas of Belper, Matlock, Ashbourne, Nottingham, and Derby.

Visit Belper, a quaint market town, for independent shops, cafés and pubs and its museum on the industrial revolution Strutt's North Mill or take a trip to Matlock to enjoy a ride on the Heights of Abraham, visit the museums and take a stroll through the stately parks. There’s also a wealth of things to do a little further afield in the big cities of Nottingham and Derby, from shopping and dining to visiting some of the many attractions.
