Grab your hiking boots on a trail along the world famous Cotswold Way and set off to admire the views over the Severn Vale towards the Forest of Dean from the hilltop at Coaley Peak (3 miles), or head to Woodchester Mansion and Park (4 miles) to discover its Grade I-Listed Victorian Gothic house. Further afield, explore Cirencester (19 miles), which is renowned for its impressive Roman heritage and bustling markets.

After a day of adventure, come home to your manor house to take a well-earned dip in the hydrotherapy tub, or enjoy a drink at the outdoor bar or many of the breakout secret areas of the garden Step inside and you’ll find an exceptionally-stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that leads to a sun-drenched conservatory with a pool table. The adjoining dining space is perfect for elegant evenings, while the sleek kitchen has a classic oak country dining table that’s ideal for relaxed mornings.

On the ground floor you’ll find one king-size bedroom with a stylish en-suite shower room, and one family room with a king-size bed and a single bed, an indulgent shower room serves this room. Continuing the ground floor there is a 16 seater herringbone oak table for those intimate dining experiences.

For entertainment the main living room boasts an impressive 90” cinematic tv screen for cuddling up and watching your favourite movie or why not gather around the log burner stove and utilise the extensive games collection, Upstairs there’s a handy lounge area on the landing, as well as four more generously sized bedrooms. There’s one super impressive king-size with vaulted ceiling served by an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a freestanding bath, as well as three family rooms that each have a king-size bed and a single bed.

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
Bristol Aquarium - BS1 5TT

The Blue Reef Aquarium and IMAX 3D Cinema is located in Bristol and makes a great fun family day out.  The newest attraction in the region it's an experience not to be missed.  More than 7000 animals are resident in naturally themed habitats and you can enjoy wandering around looking at the 40 displays. Highlights include the giant octopus and the cute seahorses. The IMAX 3D cinema system is fantastic - you will feel like you are swimming along with the animals.
Studley Grange Garden and Leisure Park - SN4 9QT

Studley Grange Garden and Leisure Park is a fantastic attraction based in Swindon, Wiltshire.  For nature lovers and those who like to get out and explore this is the perfect day out.  It's also an all weather attraction with Butterfly World being part of the site.  Butterfly World is kept at around 85 degrees year round so this makes a perfect place to visit in all seasons. A visit to the Craft Village is also recommended where there are a wide range of handcrafted gifts.
