This stylish, contemporary home welcomes large families or groups of friends for adventurous breaks in the Cotswolds. It’s set among waterways and woodlands on an exclusive estate where you will find something to do for everyone.

Get paddling on kayaks or canoes, enjoy long walks and bike rides or simply relax at the on-site spa. There are also three swimming pools and a handy restaurant.

Beyond the park, the pretty village of South Cerney (4 miles) has a few restaurants and shops. Further afield, Cotswolds Wildlife Park (19 miles) is great for a family day out.

Set over three floors, the bright and airy escape is both welcoming and well-equipped. Step into the boot room where you can store all your outdoor attire, while adjacent is a games room which has a football table, a TV and plenty of comfortable seating.

The first of the bedrooms, a king-size with a lake view, is located on the ground floor, too. The first floor features two sumptuous twin bedrooms and a king-size with an en-suite shower room.

The rest of the living space is located on the top floor: a comfortable lounge where you can sit back and relax, and an open-plan kitchen/dining area with everything you need for rustling up meals and eating together. Two family bathrooms complete this impressive interior.

There are three private outdoor areas to enjoy. First, the sun-drenched decked area which has garden furniture and houses the hot tub that overlooks the lake.

On the first floor, a balcony leads from each of the bedrooms – great for morning coffees. Finally, a veranda leads from the top-floor living space and boasts outdoor dining furniture as well as a BBQ.

Private parking for one car is provided at the lodge, while further parking is available in the on-site car park.
