This place really surprised us! It's spotless and feels super cosy, like home. The peaceful spot with gorgeous views was perfectand the hot tub was such a treat. The games room kept the teens entertained, plus loads of cool spots nearby to explore.

The cottage was even better than we imagined. Everything was spot on, from the lovely decor to the well-stocked kitchen. We felt right at home and can't wait to return with the family soon! Absolutely loved it!

We had a great stay at this spacious house, perfect for our three families to hang out together. The weather was pretty lousy all week, so the games room and hot tub became the highlights, especially for the kids. Unfortunately, much of the area was waterlogged, so we couldn't do much exploring locally, but we did make two trips to the Forest of Dean, about half an hour away, which the children loved, especially the play parks. We also visited the Butterfly Zoo at Symons Yat, which was inside and cosyand enjoyed the maize maze. Overall, a lovely trip!

Puzzlewood - GL16 8QB

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.

The Blue Reef Aquarium and IMAX 3D Cinema is located in Bristol and makes a great fun family day out. The newest attraction in the region it's an experience not to be missed. More than 7000 animals are resident in naturally themed habitats and you can enjoy wandering around looking at the 40 displays. Highlights include the giant octopus and the cute seahorses. The IMAX 3D cinema system is fantastic - you will feel like you are swimming along with the animals.

At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland.
