The Grain Dryer Reviews

Emma
We had a fantastic time at this cottage with our big family group. Plenty of room for everyone to eat, relaxand find some quiet spots too. The hot tub was a real highlightand there are loads of nice places nearby to explore. We especially enjoyed the garden centre across the road for milkshakes and ice cream. Beds weren’t the comfiest, but overall, we’d definitely recommend staying here!
Emma
We had a fantastic stay at this place! The open-plan layout downstairs was perfect for our group to hang out and cook together, especially around the big island. The enclosed garden was a big plus for our 3 dogs - no worries about them running off. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub after busy days. Over Farm’s farm shop is definitely worth a visit; their butchery is top-notch. Plus, nearby days out were greatand the Red Lion pub made us feel really welcome with delicious food for all 13 of us. We’d come back!
Emily
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. The location is fantastic, close to some great spots and easy to get around. The house itself was perfect for our family, plenty of space for everyoneand we had a blast playing pool and football. Cooking a big Christmas meal was no trouble at alland afterwards, relaxing in the hot tub or watching TV was just what we needed. The welcoming vibe made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be coming back again!
Emily
The house is really lovely, set in such a gorgeous spot with handy amenities nearby. Some interior updates would make it even better, but we appreciated the nice touch of milk and fresh bread on arrival. Would recommend!
Emma

Emma
We had a brilliant time celebrating a 50th birthday here with friends and family. The house was spot on-everything we needed and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the crockery, cutleryand appliances for a big group, which made cooking so much easier. Bedrooms were lovely, decorated nicely with plenty of spaceand the bathrooms had big towels. Parking was no problem, even with six cars. The local pub was friendlyand the bus service nearby made exploring easy. We’d definitely come back and already told friends about it!
Emma
Spacious, charming barn, loved every bit!
James
We had a brilliant stay at this place! The indoor and outdoor areas are really well thought out, perfect for our group of 12. The living room flowing into the kitchen was great for cooking and hanging out without feeling cramped. The bedrooms were spacious and comfyand the bathrooms were spotless. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and chilling by the fire pit in the evening. Overall, a fantastic spot for a big group getaway. Highly recommend!
Emma
We had a lovely time at the house, perfect for celebrating our birthday. The location was spot on and the place itself was really charming. The only issues were with the hot tub-it kept losing heat and wouldn’t reset, plus the error codes weren’t in the manual, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the hot water wasn’t ready when we arrived, probably because it’s a tank system, so we had to wait a bit. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed our time there.
Emily
Lovely place with a great spot, ideal for a girls’ weekend. Slight issues, but still recommend it!
Oliver
We went as a family of six and had a great time during our stay. The property is absolutely stunning and the hot tub, gardenand fully enclosed space made it ideal for a family. We will definitely be coming back!

The location was really convenient too, close to shops and attractions. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great time with friends!
Emma
This house is exactly how it appears on the website - which isn’t always true from what we’ve seen! It’s spacious, modernand really well equipped overall. The owners were super helpfuland we had a wonderful weekend. We’ve already told our friends about it!
James
What a great property for a big family gathering! The hot tub at 32C was just perfect during the warm weatherand we really appreciated the decking area. The owners even provided a couple of fansand the one downstairs was this massive agricultural unit that really suited the vibe of the place. It felt like we were in a wind tunnel, which was amazing! All the bathrooms were large and cooland we preferred the dressing areas in the bedrooms over traditional wardrobes. Plus, the garden was fantastic for our retriever; totally enclosed and safe!
Sophie
The property was lovely, but that barbed wire fence in the garden really isn't great for little ones! We'd definitely suggest putting up an extra fence to keep everyone safe in the future. It would make a big difference.
Emily
A group of us stayed at the grain dryer for a hen weekend and we had the best time! It is an absolutely stunning location and the house was just amazing, providing everything we could need! The hosts were really helpful. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return again soon! Thank you!

Emily
This is a lovely place to stay. Plenty of room and very clean. The kids loved the games room and the hot tub was a great bonus! The owners were very accommodating and always there at a moment's notice. There’s lots to do and fantastic walks. We would definitely go back!
James
We always get together with 8 friends from around the UK once a year! This lovely property caught our eye mainly because of its locationand it did not let us down. The weather was absolutely glorious and the countryside looked simply spectacular! We would definitely recommend this property to any large groups wanting a special place to meet up.
