The Rusty Barn Reviews

Jane
A gorgeous spot with a lovely garden centre nearby, perfect for a coffee, brunch or a quick lunch walk. Love it!
Tom
We had such a lovely family getaway at The Rusty Barn! It really suited both adults and kids (3, 5and 11). The hot tub was a big hitand the football table kept everyone entertained. The kitchen was surprisingly spacious and perfect for our group of about ten. There's plenty of outdoor space too, with secure fencing for the dog and a nice grass area. The only small issue was the table tennis equipment needing an update, but overall, it was a fantastic stay!
Laura
We loved our weekend at The Rusty Barn! The facilities are really good, perfect for family gatherings. Definitely a spot we'd return to again!
Emma

Honestly, this was one of the best holiday rentals we've stayed at in over 50 years of self-catering holidays here in the UK and abroad. The owners were lovelyand the house had everything you could possibly need. We were a three-generation group, from age 7 to 71, plus a dogand it was just spot on. There's loads to do in the area which was a real lifesaver given the rubbish weather all week. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

This was our second visit to Rusty Barn. We love the property layout and location and think it is really well equipped with really great quirky features. Beds and pillows are comfy and the barn is nice and warm. Great dog walks nearby too. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
Jamie
We had a lovely holiday with our friends. The amenities in the barn were really good. We didn't use the sauna because we visited during the hot week in July, but we spent a lot of time outside. The room with the balcony was perfectand the bath was a big help on those hot days. We'd definitely come back!
Sarah
The property itself is really great for a big family gathering. There are some lovely quirky features that add charm. The owners were super helpful and sorted out a few issues we had really quickly, which was much appreciated. It's a bit confusing because there's a field full of sheep right outside the kitchen window and stunning country views and walks all around, but it's also on working farm land and the owners are still developing neighbouring properties. That said, we all had a lovely time and I would definitely stay again.
Jessica
Honestly, this is such a great spot for family and friends to hang out, celebrate, or just chill out. The location was straightforward to find and the amenities were spot on and really clean. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone!
