Robert
Lovely relaxing place. Private with great facilities.
We all agreed that this was definitely false advertising and they must have used a fisheye camera lens as when you look at it on line to when you actually get there and see it we all said the same 'Oh my god this is an awful lot smaller than it looks' we booked it for 6 Adults 2 children and a baby cleanliness was poor the glass doors looked they hadn't been cleaned for quite a while and they high glass windows had large spiders webs all over would expect a lot more for 727 for a two night stay won't be going back.
What a beautiful stay we had! It was absolutely lovely, we made some wonderful memories and we would definitely come back! Only frustrating thing was the amount of flies that were coming inside the lodge, so would suggest bringing some fly spray etc. Apart from that, would highly recommend anyone to book!
Very pleased with the space, a lovely area with lots to do nearby. The facilities were good and people all round nice. We found the basket of firewood well overpriced at 30 which didnt even last a short weekend. After paying a lot to stay we felt that was over the top.

Thanks for an amazing stay! Brilliant time, gorgeous spot and lovely facilities
We had the BEST weekend. Rabbit Hole was even better than the pictures and we had everything we needed it far exceeded our expectations. Allen was very attentive and friendly, responding quickly to any questions that we had. I was sad to leave and will definitely be back!
Such a lovely, relaxing site, very pretty, owner friendly and helpful, definitely worth a visit, highly recommend.

The location, the views, the lodge and the facilities were amazing. Allen was so welcoming and even allowed me to throw my husband a surprise BBQ for my his 50th birthday and everyone that came was blown away with the lodge, the venue , the Lakes and the Kids play area. There was everything you could need for your stay in the lodge. We will defiantly be going back. Highly recommend.
Lovely lodge clean & tidy lovely views highly recommend
We went here for my husbands 40th it was 8 of us, we were very impressed with the cottage and Alen the owner he is so helpful whatever you need he is just a call away. I would definitely recommend this to my freinds and family we definitely created memories.

We would have appreciated a floor brush or hoover an a mop to clean the floors with. The air dryer was dirty so we had to clean this prior to our use. The sofa coverings being a cream sofa was rather stained. Location was fab an we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here a would revisit and recommend. Possibly a food hamper of local produce would have been a nice little touch like we have had at other lodges.

We had a wonderful family four night break at the Rabbit hole. Beautiful location. So nice to have the sauna, hot tub and plunge to enjoy and relax.

We had the most wonderful weekend at the Rabbit hole. On arrival the wood burner was fired up .. the hot tub steaming, the sauna toasty warm and the cold dip pool on the large decking. Talk about inviting. There was a fire pit and comfy rattan that we were able to enjoy. The house was spotless. Bathroom gleaming, beds all made with crisp white linens. White robes hanging symmetrically too. Allen the owner was extremely friendly. He met us at the entrance and showed us around the house pointing out where all the switches were with instructions. He also was just a phone call away. The house and garden is extremely private with lovely views over the fields. We were a group of 7 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday. We have all said we would come back with our families. We only travelled 30 minutes to this wonderful destination and we felt transported into a magical haven. Location is excellent. 3 beautiful old towns a stones throw away and Rutland water on the doorstep. So yes we all would recommend Rabbit Hole at Watermill Retreat.

Rabbit hole was stunning, very relaxing, just what we were looking for. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed! It was very private, you couldnt hear or see anyone else. The kids enjoyed the hot & cold tubs, Allen also bought round a goal for our son to play football. Allen was very helpful, he checked in with us daily and heated the hot tub everyday, he told us all about the future plans for Watermill Retreats it sounds great! Look forward to returning
