Positioned on the outskirts of picturesque Kirkby Mallory, it is a convenient 500 metre walk into the village where you will find a village shop, as well as a restaurant and bar. If you fancy driving your dream car for the day, Mallory Park Circuit is only half a mile away and offers driving experiences as well as track days and regular events.

It was a nice cabin. Everything we needed was mostly there. There are general improvement as the place is new that will come. The hot tub was nice. If it was on the balcony then we may have used it more as the weather in November is hit and miss. Close to Birmingham and Leicester to have a choice of things to do. The oven was good and grill was used well. If it has it own canteen in the future then it will be a buzzing sight. But as it was new it was cheaper for people on a budget.

Overall a nice lodge in picturesque surroundings with lots of wildlife around. Clean, tidy and well presented on arrival, with the exception of some cutlery that needed a good wash. Shower tray attached to shower pole was broken and had sharp edges. Could have done with some more basic kitchen utensils like a wooden spoon, bread knife and baking tray. Main disappointment was the beds. We tried both the double and single beds and all were far too soft mattresses and the bedding and pillows were substandard, with very thin pillows and illfitting pillowcases and duvet covers. We enjoyed our stay in the lovely peaceful surroundings, but just a little more attention to detail would make all the difference. The hot tub was amazing though, and nice and warm unlike some I have experienced!
