Sharon's Shepherd Hut is a charming retreat situated in the serene countryside of Maesbrook near Knockin, Shropshire. Upon entering this single-storey retreat, you will be greeted by a warm living area, complete with a sofa bed, perfect for snuggling up with a cup of tea from the provided kettle. The property also boasts a well-appointed bathroom, located in an external room, featuring a wet room walk-in shower and a double basin, along with two WCs, ensuring ample facilities for your stay.

Next to the bathroom is the kitchen and dining room, where you can prepare tasty snacks to be enjoyed at the breakfast bar using the microwave and the two-ring electric hob. Stepping outside, you will find a non-enclosed front garden, which is the real highlight of the property.

First, you will step out onto the veranda, which has outside lighting perfect for when you want to gaze up at the stars or read a good book with the night sky as a backdrop. Complete with lawn and furniture, perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a picnic on the provided bench.

The outdoor space is undoubtedly complete with the hot tub, where you can unwind after a day of exploring the local area with the bubbles serenading you. When you step out and back into the hut, two robes are provided for you.

For your convenience, a fresh water tap is also available outside. A pub is on your doorstep for a Sunday drink out, whilst a shop is a short drive away for any essentials.

The gardens are world famous with stunning areas of French and Italian style as well as a gorgeous orangery. Children's activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and on special occasions such as Halloween and Christmas.

Llangollen Boat Trips - LL20 8TA

The Wharf is situated in the peaceful market town of Llangollen - now part of a World Heritage Site. When you are in need of a rest head for the The Hungry Shepherd Tea Room where you can enjoy a bite to eat and children can burn even more energy in the indoor play area.

Described on their own website as a "fairytale adventure" there is a nursery rhyme and fairytale characters theme running throughout the park. One inside the park you can enjoy unlimited free rides and there's an indoor soft play area for the younger ones and for when the weather is not on your side.  Another popular aspect of this attraction is the nature trail.  Check out their website for the latest events and admission costs. This company also owns Jungleland - another great attraction just 4 miles from Wonderland.

Wepre Country Park is home to one of the largest play areas in Wales and is perfect for a fun family day out during the summer months. The site has miles of attractive woodland to be explored and cycling and nature trails are very popular ways to see the best of the area. The grounds of the historic estate also have beautiful gardens with stunning floral displays and there is plenty of open space for children to play. An annual events programme ensures that seasonal activities take place regularly including spooky Halloween Walks, Christmas Carol Singing and Ranger led events.
