Midway between the quaint market town of Ludlow (11 miles) and Bridgnorth (12 miles), it’s a perfect location for getting out and about and exploring the delights of the stunning area, whether that be by foot, bike, or car. The local village of Oreton is a mile away where you can find the nearest pub or pick up the public footpath from the bottom of the garden, the Jack Mytton Way which travels nearly 100 miles through Shropshire’s most beautiful and unspoilt countryside, including Titterstone Clee Hill and Silvington Ridge.

Midway between the quaint market town of Ludlow (11 miles) and Bridgnorth (12 miles), it’s a perfect location for getting out and about and exploring the delights of the stunning area, whether that be by foot, bike, or car.

The local village of Oreton is a mile away where you can find the nearest pub or pick up the public footpath from the bottom of the garden, the Jack Mytton Way which travels nearly 100 miles through Shropshire’s most beautiful and unspoilt countryside, including Titterstone Clee Hill and Silvington Ridge. In nearby Bewdley (11 miles) a lovely riverside town offering plenty of shops and eateries, enjoy a nostalgic and picturesque steam train journey at The Severn Valley Railway.

You can venture to the National Trust’s Kinver Edge and the Rock House (19.5 miles) or spend a full day visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge (21 miles), or the West Midlands Safari Park (15 miles). This single-storey stable conversion, which once formed part of a historic workhouse, has been renovated to the very highest of standards, with every part of your stay carefully considered and curated to perfection.

You enter a colourful modern kitchen and dining space which has been fully equipped to ensure you can rustle up a romantic meal for two. To the right of the kitchen is where you'll find the shower room and WC, complete with beautifully smelling toiletries.

Moving back through the kitchen into the living and sleeping space, you will appreciate stylish interiors, aesthetically pleasing finishes, and quality linens. A large sofa and statement reading chair offer comfortable spaces for you to relax on those lazy afternoons, choosing from the selection of books or switching on the Smart TV.

We stumbled across this place and it was just what we needed to unwind for a few days. The setting in the countryside is stunningand the apartment is really beautifully decorated with thoughtful little touches. Everything we needed was thereand the owners were super helpful. The basket of goodies on arrival was such a lovely surprise. We’d definitely recommend it!

You can enjoy just one or try a few of the available activities during a day at the centre. The centre also offers fun packed birthday parties and corporate events.

Described on their own website as a "fairytale adventure" there is a nursery rhyme and fairytale characters theme running throughout the park. One inside the park you can enjoy unlimited free rides and there's an indoor soft play area for the younger ones and for when the weather is not on your side.  Another popular aspect of this attraction is the nature trail.  Check out their website for the latest events and admission costs. This company also owns Jungleland - another great attraction just 4 miles from Wonderland.

Queenswood Country Park has a stunning location offering panoramic views of the countryside. The area is abundant with wildlife and you can see how many species you can spot while enjoying the nature trails. The park also has a large children play area and a licensed café. Seasonal activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and at peak times of the year including Halloween events and crafting sessions as well as ranger led walks.

A day trip to Dudley Zoo in Worcestershire is a real treat for children and adults alike. Locally renowned for the Sheep Steeple chasing and daily goat races this is a really unique family attraction that the kids will love.  You can really get hands on with the farm animals with the animal handling sessions and you can have a go at teaching the parrots to talk!  The crazy craft cabin will keep even the most creative entertained with pottery and painting amongst other things. When you are in need of a rest head for the The Hungry Shepherd Tea Room where you can enjoy a bite to eat and children can burn even more energy in the indoor play area.
